I'm just killing time for an hour drooling over "bad boy Kaidan" and reading misc fanfics before I have to go to a doctor's appt.

Argh, that sounds... awefully boring.

Eh, filling out a Mass Effect 2 meme, so some Kaidan stuff is included... got so tired in the eyes of squinting at the sketches of the pattern I've been painting onto foam pieces.

I started on the last chapter of my fic last night, but couldn't finish.  Work was insane yesterday, and I have a backlog of stuff left to do today when I go in, so it was hard for me to concentrate once I had the chance to finally sit down alone (plus I was dead tired).  

Hopefully I'll have some downtime today, then I could just write at work (and I could pretend I was busy doing real work!)

You mentioned that you thought I might have slipped into third person at one point.  In rereading my fic to check on that, something hit me: Miranda says Shepard was nearly a month pregnant.  The way I wrote Shepard's response, it was intended to come as a complete surprise.  Now that I think about the timing that would be involved there... well, I think Shepard would have suspected something was going on, if you catch my drift.

Awww, no cake?!

That's poor, I thought one of the main aims in going on a course was to get tea and biscuits at regular intervals.

There is a consultant in our office today, so I am having to keep my visits to the forum very subtle lest he spots beautiful Kaidan pics on my screen. And my Sharepoint test server won't play nice with me either. I am tired of it's disingenuous assertions...

Might see if I can get away with some fanfic work - Word looks boring and serious, right?

Do you think Kaidan's the flowery romantic type? I get the impression he might have been holding back some poetry in ME1. I mean, I wouldn't want him to get all William Shakespeare or something, but I would like some pretty, angsty words from him in ME3 about the despair he felt over Shep's death. I'm such a drama queen.
