I've posted this on the patch thread and it is really Kaidan related, but wondered if I am alone with this problem. This is a copy/paste of what I put

''I have a glitch, this has only been since downloading LOSTB (probably coincidence but maybe relevant) Whilst doing Jack's loyalty mission - at the end when you can give Jack time to look around her cell I always do, I reloaded 3 or 4 times but it kept jumping from 'Walk Jack round her cell', to the shuttle, so missing out on her sharing her experience. I know it doesn't 'affect', loyalty or anything, nevertheless I don't like it skipping that part, I always thought that part was good.........



Any ideas what may have caused this?''

Has this happened to anyone else? Or just me?

I'm not sure if saves work the same for xBox and PC, but when I thought I'd lost one of my Sheps, it turned out I still had her "career", so I just booted up the character and started over with it. I lost most of my progress, but at least I didn't have to remake it.

As it stands now, (after deleting some, >:/) I have about 16 different Shepards, and I can just load another career when I want to play on another one, without losing the progress I've made on the current one.

My glitch is similar but different. I don't get the cutscene on the derelict reaper with all the spikes and squad dialogue. Not game breaking but I replayed and reloaded to try and get it to trigger. This appeared after downloading LOTSB.

That reminds me that I have got  to get to GameStop to buy a thumbdrive for the Xbox to back up my saves (stupid Xbox won't let you use a regular thumbdrive *rolls eyes*)

@groping:  You know, the groping part of the scene was much better than the "sex" part of the scene in ME1--not that that any of it was bad (except that misplaced "Joker is waiting for you on the bridge" line).  Just that the groping part was the best part. 

EDIT:  We had that big discussion on the thread about the metrics/data harvesting BioWare does from ME2 and that a lot of people skip the dialogue.  So as a protest, I've stopped skipping dialogue.  During the cut scenes and load screens and dialogue, I crochet while I am watching.  I've gotten a lot of work done on the afghan I'm making for my mother-in-law for Christmas!

I used a thumb drive to back up my ME1 saves. It wouldn't let me copy my ME2 saves though. That sucks. I will rage if I ever lose my characters Sorry, Sage. Have a Kaidan hug!

This may seem like
a silly question but, when you say you deleted it, do you mean that you
manually deleted the folder (on a PC)? A lot of people forget that they
can still save deleted trash out of the Recycle Bin as long as you
haven't emptied it.

I hope you get it back. Mine is backed up
in like three places because I recently lost about a year and a half
worth of stuff on my pc when I reformatted and the DVD i burned to
corrupted.

On another note, what in the frilly heck does VS stand for? its probably something simple but its driving me mad.

Virmire Survivor = the person who didn't get nuked on Virmire.  It's easier than saying Kaidan or Ashley all the time, since after Virmire they are interchangeable (to an extent!).

But that's never used positively.  It's only ever in noting their current interchangebility that none of us like.

morning - went to bed early after that unfortunate discovery. no, i must have hit "delete career" within the game. i am completely at a loss for how else i could have lost the saves. i must have had a momentary case of spirit possession, because i don't remember doing that.

anyhow, i still have the ME1 character file, so i can either start playing again from level 54 or start a new version based on retro-imported code (which i will feel compelled to play into ME2) or i can just forget about it for now. the critical character files are backed up. i just lost the saves. so if i want to go back for flycam-groping for kyrie, i'm out of luck (le sigh)

you know, speaking of KAsh - I was pulling down fraps movies yesterday in ME1 and realized, the VS really is interchangeable before virmire, too. the end-eden prime sequence completely merges them for a moment. i had kind of forgotten about that, but it really made me think about how kaidan/ashley were probably intended from the start to boil down to one character - namely, the alliance ally. unfortunately, "boil down" often includes critical personality differences and not just their spot on the squad, but yeah.

Does anyone else think that line could be a hint to the fans for when the DLC would come out.  In two months.  November, December-ish.  Or am i just reading too much into it. (wishful thinking anyone?)

Haven't played LotSB yet, but the screenshot for that quote seemed (in context) to suggest a ShadowBroker operative, not an Alliance operative.  It seems more infiltrative than "he's gonna get a really skilled aide."

To me, anyway.

Other people have noticed that line, but what does it really mean?  If the VS was a Shadow Broker operative, that plan is most likely changed with Liara in charge.  And what would be the point (from the writer's perspective) of having them be his aide?  I just don't think, whatever their roles are right now, it would make sense to make them into a "Nyxeris" type spy.  At least, I hope that's not what is coming next.  If there is DLC, I want them in an action role, right beside Shepard.

...And then in ME3, I want Kaidan right beside Shepard IN BED.
