I like Jack doing the biotic shield too.  It seems to fit her more.  Especially the final blast at the end since everyone always talks about how powerful she is.

No way I was trusting Jack with anything. Heck I usually leave her on the ship with Jacob.

But Kaidan could have done any of the jobs--although I would have been more nervous with him in the tech job since it was a bit more dangerous.

Especially Phoenix Armor on Kaidan.

Kaidan's medium armor on Horizon is pretty good looking on him.  It's the one thing they did right with his storyline in ME2.

But he's definitely hot in his BDU, don't get me wrong.  I just prefer medium armor on him to the light armor from ME1.

I dunno.  I like Kaidan in the armor.  Don't get me wrong, I like him out of the armor better.  But I like the design of the ME armor.  Much more flattering than, say, Stormtrooper armor.  I like the lines running from the chest plate over the abs and around the hips.
And, of course, like Sia mentioned, the manbasket with the oh-so-easy-release clasp(s)

EDIT:  I like him best in the Horizon armor, then the mercenary armor in ME1
But I think he'd look really good in that Kasumi DLC formal wear also since my Kaidan-like mShep looks really yummy in it.

I dunno if there'd be biotically enhanced children to begin with, simply because I'm not convinced that biotics are hereditary.

And it's hard to say: tIM would probably want Shepard to pass on her genetic material, or it might have been one of those things cut from the project or left unfinished when Shepard woke up early.  Or it might have been impossible or ignored.

Genetic recombination and reproduction through artificial means is probably possible, though.  This is The Future after all.  Naturally, maybe not.

I've wondered that myself when pondering Kate's & Kaidan's future after the Reapers are taken care of  for my fic, and I think if they could manage to resurrect Shep they prolly could resurrect her with her fertility intact.

I've pondered it as well. I hope they will be able to have kids if they want to, as the DA:O situation between FemWarden and Alistair was quite enough in-game infertility for me.

One of the things I've really appreciated about Mass Effect after the dark and murky experience of playing DA:O is the ability to get a hard-won but nonetheless genuinely happy ending. (Here's hoping ME3 gives us this with Kaidan.)

I've wondered about the biotic children thing as well. It is a mutation. But is it a mutation that is written into the DNA, especially that of the reproductive cells? I don't know. Asari and Krogan can pass along biotic abilities genetically, though.

Yeah we don't really know if humans can pass on biotics even if they are biotic themselves. All we really know is how some human children have become biotics. It would be nice to find out more about it. And don't even get me started on the craptacular situation in DAO. If my femshep doesn't get her happy ending with Kaidan I'm going to war
