On a killing note, I am getting ready to start ME2 for my FF Shep and I am trying to decide if I want anyone on my team to die in the suicide mission?  None of them can hold a candle to Alenko, nay a match.

Do you want to see them in 3? Do you mind if not seeing someone you really like in 3 in this particular playthrough? If not I'd go for dramatics by going for a character you do like its the most fun sorry wise imo, in that it might actually make you feel something, vs someone you dont like. The only person I might kill off in my main playthroughs is miranda. I would kill off more but I don't know who I'd want to take into 3 first and I'd want to know what happens with all the characters straight away. Of course there will be the as many deaths as possible PT though. Oh yes =D... (er did that sound creepy? =P)

Yeah Shepard sure has dignity, I would wrap myself around Kaidan's leg, begging him not to leave and never letting go. He would have to drag me along when walking away!

All asari are natural biotics from birth.  Biotics of other species, such as humans, are individuals who were exposed to dust-form element zero ('eezo') in utero and, beating the odds, developed eezo nodules throughout their nervous system. The natural electrical impulses in the body can create mass effect fields from these nodules, producing the effects seen as biotic abilities.

So no I don't believe it is possible to pass it on from generation to generation and still be Canon...

Of Course in Fan Fic... Anything is possible.

Actually, if the exposure altered the DNA.... Which, given that the other effects are cancer, it does.... biotics are more than likely inheritable. Or at least, this is the conclusion my molecular biologist husband came to while arguing with me. It IS a mutation, after all.



The main effect I can see is that there would be a lot of stillborn or miscarried fetuses until a viable child was born, however.



Assuming Shep's eggs were resurrected along with her, Kaidan and Shep could have lots of biotic little rugrats.
