@ Fenris.. no you are not forgetful the sterility is the most likely senerio in the terms of what little we know... and Predisposition to the biotics is why so few live... well based on current Cancer studies ... who knows what happens in 150 years...

I was kinda hoping that cancer would be cured by then....

I still think that survivors of eezo-exposure, ACTUAL surviving biotics, should be able to pass the gene on. At least women should. I can see why it would cause sterility in men as they are somewhat more prone to genetic diseases.



And I somewhat doubt we will ever cure cancer. It's cellular mutation often caused by exposure to physical contaminants, or high levels of radiation or some such. As it stands, we are creating a more and more carcinogenic environment for ourselves.

And yet here you guys are talking about how biotics could potentially affect reproduction and discussing chromosomes, cancer cells, and mutations with an enthusiasm that I didn't see in my high school biology classes.

Slightly delayed response (in my defense, this soup is wonderful):
Video games are good for you, and your career.  Tell your parents to keep up with the news   It's been known for years that video games increase eye-hand coordination, improve problem solving skills, and promote social skills (albeit, a very specific subset).

Regarding the sterility of female biotics or with biotics: An easy way out of that is to remember that femShep was reconstructed by Cerberus.  Possibly they fixed a few broken things here and there.  It would be kind of silly to reconstruct femShep with non-working ovaries, wouldn't it?  And they have some stem cells right there, after all.

You make a very good point, Daewan. On both accounts! If only my mum would believe that my gaming is good for me... >_O

As for Cerberus recreating Shep infertile, (contradicting myself here...) they could have run out of time and not actually restored her fully.

But I'm still thinking Shep should be able to have babies with Kaidan... Biotics and hair-bumps included! xD

Yeah, that always bugged me a little, that Miranda was in Shep's room. And that instead of Kaidan's gorgeous behind, we got Gardner. No offense to Gardner, but he'll never compare to Kaidan.

Actually, at the beginning of Retribution they talk about how TIM doesn't have to worry about the rammifications of smoking since those were all cured.

How about Kelly brings them breakfast and leaves it in that little entryway in front of the door? That way nobody has to bother with anything as trivial as 'clothing'. Pfft, whatever *that* is

Kelly wouldn't stop in the entryway. o_O And why should Shepard need to put her clothes on? It's her damned ship!!

LOL.  Poor Kaidan.  It's hilarious (mostly because of the guy's voice), but I couldn't read the comments, I know youtube commenters too well.  They're more likely to be immature Kaidan haters than the norm.

I have a question for folks:  I'm still hopeful that Liara will get a squadmate position in ME3, but because of the end of her DLC, it's very easy to see them keeping her on the sidelines in the last game, which in my opinion would be a mistake.  Say we get the Kaidan/Ashley DLC, but in the end, it sets the VS up for another cameo role in ME3.  Are you disappointed, even if the DLC was everything we hoped for in every other way?  Would you be less likely to get ME3 with Kaidan in a helpful but small cameo role?

I will be extremely disappointed but it depends on the role. If it's the same thing that we get in ME2 then I probably won't even bother getting the game used because tbh, Kaidan's about the only part of the franchise that I love that they've decided to keep.

Yeah... at this point, I think Kaidan's the only thing I'm interested in ME3 for.  ME2 broke the overarching story for me, and the new gameplay (if it stays the same) doesn't really hold my interest on its own.  I'm curious where they'll go from here, but I don't expect much.

I would still buy and play it, but I would be really disappointed.  If that were to happen I'd probably only play it once and I wouldn't buy the collectors, like i did with ME2, or any DLC that came out.  I really hope they don't do that though.  It would ruin any re-playability that the 3 games have as a whole, for me anyway.

btw for for those of you who like this sort of thing, there is another great Vid called Save the Hero.  You all were talking a while back (while I was still lurking) about Kaidan saving Shep for a change.  This fits nicely with that sentiment I think.

@cameo role: No, no, no. Hell no. I really really want my team back from ME1. They were special. They were my crew. If I had to let some of the team from ME2 go to make room, I'll do it. It's childish, but I will rant, rave, boycott, join a march to Bioware HQ, whatever if I can't have the people in my squad that made me fall in love with the series in the first place. Feron can have her place and she dictates orders from my ship. I don't care. I want them with me when I face the Reapers. It wouldn't seem at all right without them.



They made me have to leave behind Ash. I don't want to leave behind anyone else.
