And concerning the "ultimate sacrifice" theme for ME3, please no. How much can one person suffer throughout a trilogy? Besides, there could be some brave souls who let their Shepard die twice in ME2. Heck I would let my Shepard die in ME2 if it turns out that, should she survive, she'll die again in ME3 and take Kaidan with her.

I want some heroic ending first. Lots of celebration and preferably a scene where the Council is involved. Something nasty and embarrassing for them And then Kaidan swoops in and takes Shepard away from all the official business (like Alistair should have done at the end of DA) and we get the final romantic, closure cutscene...whatever it may be. I REALLY want my journey through the years of ME to end with a shot of my Shepard and her Kaidan, peace at least *nodnodnod*

Edit : You know, the ME2 ending death made me think of something funny. What if....Kaidan or Ashley takes over from Shepard if she's dead? I bet that would put some motivation into people to save their Shepard at the end of ME2

Okay well in that case it turns out all the stuff Cerberus did to Shepard to revive her, actually turned her into a human reaper. Kaidan will end up having to kill the woman he loves when she starts feeding on human slushies. They fight, she mortally wounds him and then he tosses her into some hot, liquid metal goo (cuz they are in a factory after all), he collapses, you see this metal hand coming from the goo, he reaches out in this highly romantic gesture and that's the end of it.

I want the super happy ending! Marriage/engagement. Choices are cool, but marriage doesn't have to be done in a church, so it doesn't have to be anything spiritual or religious. And just because you get married doesn't mean you have to turn into a housewife and have kids. Shep and Kaidan could still travel the galaxy together doing whatever they wanted.That's the way I would RP it...

Also, you can't really look at it from Shep's pov, since we are Shep... so the question to ask would be "Is this in character for Kaidan?" I think it totally would be.

But to have multiple happy endings would be cool. Also, I would feel totally ripped off if they went the DA way and just gave us a big text box explaining it all away. I want a cutscene with some closure!

No text boxes, no no no...eeeekkkk, well not unless we had the closure scene first..but rather not. Cutscenes are the way to go and when you look at what people modding ME2 are doing, it should be easy to copy and paste whatever LI they want into the scene

I couldn't see text boxes working well in the ME universe. It was passable in DAO because they had a silent, text-box hero.

Would have been funny if they decided to voice the hero at the end in a cutscene and your female Warden had this horrible voice.  I would die of laughter

True, didn't think about it like that. I still was disappointed with the ending in DAO. I wanted closure, not a little storybook. Why use that kind of medium when you don't have to? They could have at least thrown up some screenshots with it. "Aliistair adores his new wife." - backdrop of you and him holding hands staring at each other. That would have been alot better!

But not before humanity sends someone back into time to prevend it all...because we need some content for future Mass Effects ofcourse

I also love this shot! I din't get ME til last summer cause a friend recommended it and had no idea that you could even romance someone. So when I saw Kadian and mentioned to my friend something like "he's so handosme...and I think he's coming on to me!" He was all "duh, lol, you can romance him"   YAY <3
