No, not Colin Firth. Unfortunately. Elliot Cowan: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1259002/
Still quite hot.

He does seem rather cheesed off in that pic, its true. Like an angry parent saying, "Now, SOMEONE didn't clean their room - guess who."

He doesn't strike me as someone with a lot of relationship experience, so it takes him some time to work up the courage to do/say something mushy (too busy second guessing himself at first), but when he does, it's honest and straight from the heart, not because it's something he knows he's supposed to do.
Well...true... I'll be alittle honest with you, and add that in that way I'm alot like him. I don't have massive amounts of experience with relationships, and am terrible at working out when women are trying to flirt with me.
And yes, your summary is pretty good.
I don't think it's lack of experience so much as that people can be very confused about signals - we don't always know how to send them, and we sure don't always know how to pick up on them. My husband was uncertain after our first date - a six-hour soul sharing over what was supposed to be a quick cup of coffee to say hi. I would have thought it was pretty obvious a line had been crossed, but he was still worried we were just "friends". He got over it, obviously. And he wasn't a baby or inexperienced by any stretch. I think maybe when something matters more, you are a lot more careful with how you move forward - you don't want to screw it up.
I think that may be why Kaidan has so many married fans. We've seen enough to know what sticks. Jacob is the guy you do, then kick out the door while wondering if you have any cookies left in the pantry; Garrus is the buddy you grow up with; Thane is the tragic angst-filled heartbreaker that will never work out in the long run, and Kaidan... Kaidan is the guy you marry.

Ohhhh. I forgot about him (haven't seen that yet, is on my Netflix queue though). Colin Firth is the only Mr Darcy for me.
Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled Kaidan:

Heh, would be a nice change from reality- what, being awkward, uncertain, and generally tongue tied around women is suddenly sexy? When did this happen and who didn't send me a memo!
Sometimes... haha. Kaidan's awkwardness is really cute, especially since we now know that he is strong as well. The charming guys are fun and all, but sometimes I really appreciate the cute uncertain guy because I know it's so much harder for him to approach me - so his advances seem more real or heartfelt, whereas sometimes the super confident type makes me wonder if it's really ME he's interested in, or if he's going for just another conquest, you know? (Also, honestly, it's kind of an ego trip to know that you've robbed a man of his speech, mwahaha...) On the other hand, if the guy is only always shy and never opens up or pursues or takes a stand, that can be frustrating, too ("Maybe I don't mean as much to him as I thought,"), and the confident guy's decisiveness can be attractive. SO it all just depends, I suppose.

So sweet and well-said! Probably why most characters who romanced Kaidan seem to have been kept faithful by their players. (Well, most of the players who post here, anyway, it seems.)Alice829 wrote...

Wait-wait-wait... thats a signal that the fussy line has been crossed? Hmm... I can see why their is such confusion between the sexs then... I would consider that a good sign, but then again, it could quite easily be the well lit and travelled route to the 'friends zone'.

True - true. But I think Jacob was just badly thought out from start to finish, heh.

He's slippery. And I made the mistake of bringing Jacob and Garrus and neither of them wanted to help me catch him.
