I just restarted with a femShep for Liara because I Just Cannot Stand mShep's voice. Ugh. I was going to be mean to Kaidan, but it's no fun. Being mean to Ashley, now that's funny. The sarcasm in Ashley's voice when she's anti-Shep is incredibly well-done.

Gah, playing my one and only mShep was difficult because of the voice. Tossed me out of the story every time he monotoned a line. And poor Ash did get the lines I would never say to Kaidan even as mShep.

I have a Kaidan question. This is probably a stupid question but I want to know.



In Shepard's cabin right before Ilos, Kaidan talks about how they've stolen a warship, mutineered, and that if the Alliance wants to get technical they could throw in kidnapping. I get the first part, of course. But what does he mean by kidnapping? Is he referring to the Normandy crew that was on the ship during the lockdown that automatically accompanies them after Anderson helps get the ship released?

Even though I've never renegaded Kaidan myself, I love tehPrincessJ's video on the process:    It shows that Kaidan doesn't just roll over and agree with everything Shepard says to him right away.  He disagrees at first, takes some time to think about things from her perspective, and by the end of the game, he starts seeing things differently, especially after the Council locks down the Normandy.

I can buy that his status as a "renegade" doesn't carry over to ME3, because over two years, whatever influence Shepard had may have gone away, or things may have happened to either strengthen his previous convictions or disillusion him even more.  I just hope that if they give you the option to do something like that again, it isn't awkward, or seems like Shepard has magical brainwashing powers...because if she does have those, how do you explain Horizon???

It's been awhile since I renegaded Kaidan, it was good to see this vid. But MAN does Kaidan look weird in this video. Shiny and spray-tanned, like an evil love child of George Hamilton or something. What's the dealio, I wonder?

I had the same question.  Since he lists "twenty-five mutineers," in the renegade version I'm not sure it's the crew (though maybe some of the crew weren't informed?).  It's possible there were some Alliance or Citadel personnel on the Normandy they had to take off with, though... or the aliens.

So...I uh, I finally drew him. Albeit very quickly, but still, I was convinced he would be a nightmare to draw and he did look like a randomer until the eyebrows went on and then I was reassured that it WAS Kaidan I was sketching.







Can't stay was meaning to post before the drawing, but now its bedtime Night x

I thought about buying KOTOR, too. I'm a bit unsure, though. (Butmaybe then I'll be able to understand why Kaidan is always compared to Carth.)

I tried KOTOR. It didn't last very long though, every time I tried to play it, it would crash in about 5 minutes in. Maybe it's incompatible with windows 7. I don't know.

In Vista I've found that disabling videos helps my crashing issues.

L... you're in for a treat!  Make sure (assuming you're getting the PC version) to get the Carth Romance Fix mod right away.  Don't want to spoil anything by saying more.

I know the discussion was a few pages back, but how come no one likes Stasis?! Stasis and Neural Shock are my best friends on Insanity... o_O So is Kaidan... Man, can he cover me~ Not that I need the covering! But it's nice to know he's got my back. /sigh if only real people were that helpful! ¬_¬

This might have something to do with your computer being "over-qualified." Daggerfall, for an example doesn't run properly on a 64-bit OS, but on a 32-bit it'll be fine, what with reverse compatibility and stuff...

EDIT: I just realised how unhelpful that was... ¬_¬

@Brody, yeah, but while one enemy is in stasis, I usually have time to finish another two off. Very useful on Insanity. Which is why I like have both Kaidan, Liara and my Shep using it... xD When I'm not playing a vanguard that is. o_O

Just make sure you're not too nice to Carth.  Don't be mean, though.  Be flirty/fighting with him.  He's fun to tease.

The new Horizon photos are nice.  Kaidan's so handsome in that armor.

Meh, I didn't find ME1 insanity hard at all with biotics. ME2 insanity... now that's an adventure!



And on the subject of Kaidan, I have a request. Please post and/or PM lots of different screenies of the kissing/groping/whatever you want to call it from the night before Ilos. I need it for a reference for my next Poser project.

I found ME2 Insanity much easier... o_O Especially with Garrus and Thane on my team.



I don't think I'd ever be able to do Insanity on ME1 without Kaidan, though... o_O Wrex is awesome, but in terms of usefulness, Kaidan still holds the priiiize... xD
