The only place that I had problems with Kaidan on insanity was Feros. He wasn't very projectile vomit proof :/

LOL! I didn't have a lot of problems with Kaidan there, but I brought Tali with me once and she cost me all my medi-gel... ¬_¬

So I started over with Kaidan and Wrex and the creepers went flying~! xD

Yeah, Kaidan took alot of vomit hits, as much as I tried to keep those damn creepers from my man!

Neural shock is awesome. I love seeing those Batarian jerks drop on BDTS

My Renegade Vanguard did good things because he was there. His idealism restored her dreams. She still beat the crap out of people. Missing him in ME2 made her darker and more violent, but there was still always an element of "Will Kaidan yell at me if I do this?" She still shoved that merc out the window, but she's going to lie to him about it if he ever asks.

That describes exactly the way my Vanguard feels in ME2...(besides that she did not shove the merc out of the window...she only threatend him)
So she was much more violent and grim...more impatient...
In ME1 Kaidan was the one who calmed her down, made her think twice iin several situations...

I loved to kill the creepers with the shotgun...always let them come close and the shoot...worked very well...
But it's true...Kaidan got hit by their vomit badly...and made me use a lot medigel...

If I am not being overwhelmed - they stay unconscious- if they can't stay out if the way & I don't need them, let them sleep.

Kaidan needs his sleep, after all, Shepard plans to keep him very busy!

I want to try to do a modified SR-1 Cabin that looks habitable, so I'd like to find multiple angles of it.  (Why doesn't Shepard have bedding?)
and some Kaidan head shots from numerous angles.   That would be much appreciated if it is not too much trouble Image IPB

Will do. I'll compile it to a rar file. Should I upload it somewhere or do you want me to send you it per mail? Image IPB

Although I'm usually a spoiler hound, and will definitely be doing as much homework as possible before picking up DA2 (IF I pick up DA2, which is something I never thought I would say), I'm wondering now if I'd be better off in a self imposed blackout when ME3 info starts coming out.

Before ME2 was released, I was busy reading about and then playing DA:O, and just assumed that I would be reunited with my hunny Kaidan and we'd be kicking Reaper behind together, and no spoilers were needed. Then I happened to check out the ME2 forum one day (LOL, I had seen the trailer for Jack and wanted to read the reactions), and was shocked that not only would the ME1 LIs NOT be teammates in ME2, but Chris Priestly was also shutting down any discussion of ME1 love interests. It was awful, and suddenly I was VERY interested in ME2 spoilers.

This time around, I don't know what the point would be of playing, if Kaidan isn't a squadmate, because I'll want to rewrite canon, and like DA:O, where I just lost interest after knowing the ending of Awakening and realizing that there was no happy ending possible for my favored character, there would be no point in playing Gwen Shepard's story anymore. Perhaps writing fan fiction, but I don't need to buy the game for that.

So maybe I'd be better off *not* obsessing over the game, at least until it comes out, and I can make an informed decision on whether I'm getting it? I don't want to stop coming to the BSN, though, and this is a great group of people...sigh. Yeah, ME3 needs to come out now.

I don't know. I'll buy it and play it either way. It's not the endings that have derailed me from ever finishing Awakenings (my "canon" is a Mistress), it's what they did with Oghren and the lackluster plot.

I'll buy ME3 if only to see how Avery's and Meghan's story ends.

I get too attached to single characters.  If the ending of ME3 is sad, or dissatisfying for my main Shepard, I'll lose all interest in replaying it.  I've tried playing DA:O with different characters, and right around the time I meet Alistair in Ostagar, I get really sad.  Image IPB  Even with male, lady loving, dwarves.

I would almost rather have a brand new protagonist (which is why Hawke doesn't bother me) than to have my Shepard's story ruined.  For me that would entail being forced to be a martyr, disappearing without my LI, or having my LI die (noooooooooooo).  Beating ME1 for the first time was so great, I want that feeling again when I finish ME3.  But this time, I want a cutscene with Kaidan, to add to the epicness.

Well, I won't be playing Awakening with Emma Cousland, no matter what.  I consider that ending to be out of character for her.

I REALLY don't want a sad ending for either of my Shepards.  (I don't consider the possibilty of Meghan ending up alone sad  -- unless it's because Garrus and/or Kaidan DIE.)  A tragic ending had better be as much as the result of Shepard's stupidity as dying in the suicide mission is.  But a Shepard who has her stuff together should be able to have a happy ending in ME3 with Kaidan or any other LI.

I agree completely.

I don't want my Shepard to be railroaded into what should have a choice to begin with (like working for Cerberus).
If Bioware does something like this again and Kaidan or Shepard end up dying as a result, then the ME saga ends with ME1 for me.

Yes, are you listening, Bioware?  Obsidian pulling it with Carth and femRevan or Bastila and mRevan was bad enough.  Doing it in Awakenings in a frigging epilogue slide?!!!!!!!!  100 times worse, which is why to this day I have not bought it and do not intend to change that anytime in the near future.  I mean, at least Obsidian gave us an actual conversation about it!  Two, if you count Carth's message to T3.  Seriously, I trusted after Baldur's Gate 2 that Bioware at least knew how to make good sequels to their own damn games, but with some of the stuff they've pulled lately, I'm beginning to question that more and more.  Any of the things you listed would be a surefire way to ruin ME3 for me, but that one is at the top of the list.  Mia Shepard is not going anywhere without her Kaidan!

Breathe, Joi.  They won't do that.  We have to believe that.

I'll breathe when I see a satisfying conclusion to the Shenko romance in ME3 (and just for you, I'll hope for a satisfying end for Meghan and Garrus too)

In the meantime, I have other things to occupy me. Like keeping the updates coming for Truth and Lies. Ch. 13 is up for the rest of your reading pleasure.

If the rumours are true and we get the announcement for ME3 in October, maybe it won't  be too long until we get something.
