YESSSSS! I love when that happens. We're closing early here today at work because of "snow" also... I lived in New England, USA for a few years and this sleet we're getting here is nothing compared to the snow up there. Ah, well... cancellations are nice anyway, and were far less frequent up there because everyone was so used to it, so I guess I shouldn't complain. Looking forward to reading your fanfic updates....

OMG! Ooooooooh Mr Darcy! God I love that scene, like really, really love it!
Now to bring it back to Kaidan, you may be wondering how I endured my boring course sans cake, of course you may nor be remotely interested, I'll tell you anyway
Everytime the lecture did something that made me want to yawn, I played a little game, 'What would Kaidan do? What would Shepard do?' (Imaginative title I know
Example, lecturer started talking about how to put a titration demonstration in moving pictures, I decided Kaidan would sit quietly like a good boy, writing notes and pretending to be interested. Shep however (renShep to be more precise) would leap onto the table, biotically throw said boring lecturer across the room and then say 'look she bored herself to sleep!'
Ok so I was really, really bored

Is it bad that I can no longer stay away during Lectures? I used to be fine in undergrad, now I just seem to find it impossible to keep conscious.

Mind if I try that game the next time my economy teacher goes into one of his long dull explanations of sweden's economy, which 70% of the time goes straight over my head due to spacing out the whole time?

Something similar happened throughout the whole of "Multi-variable State Control" for me. Though a year later when I was actually using it, it all clicked together and I was like "oooooh."

Nah that's fairly normal, I can manage to stay awake but as I have the attention span of a gnat unless something really really grabs me (no not literally Doug

Haha go for it! I'm sure at one point I actually willed the lecturer to get shoved against the wall, but no, I am not biotically gifted

Nah that's fairly normal, I can manage to stay awake but as I have the attention span of a gnat unless something really realy grabs me (no not literally Doug) I tend to start daydreaming about things, ie Kaidan angel and realise 10 mins in I have no idea what's going on! I also play little games , like eye-spy, lol when Sten was talking about it in DA I was like OMG that's me, well apart from the huge, grey male part!
*awws at the lack of opportunity for inneundo*
Well, I used to do that, but the last 2 years every time I go into a lecture or class, I just drift off to nearly asleep, heh. And Sten was awesome! I love that hulking murderer (no ******)

Commander Alenko requires attention be brought back to him,
Anyways, just dropping in to show some support for cdr Alenko. Didn't get to know him very well, as he tends to keep to himself (can you blame him, after what he'd been through?), but I've always had great respect for him, as a soldier and as a man. He may not be flashy and all, but I can be sure he'll get the job done when I need it.
I really wish I could have both Ashley and him. I'd happily trade Jacob for Kaidan and throw in Miranda as a bonus too. And Jack, speaking of Cerberus-spawn.
Recently I've started another playthrough as a sentinel; sort of a small, personal tribute to Kaidan. In ME1 his skillset was somewhat lacking, but in ME2 he'd be a great addition to the team. Too bad he's absent.

I'm not sure when this pic was taken exactly. Is it during the Liara/Kaidan confrontation if you romance them both? (I never romance Liara so I never get that scene).

Yeah, he would've been great for my soldier gal (see profile pic). For the most part in ME2, I used Garrus and Miranda because they had skills I didn't. Didn't want Jacob or Jack; if they had vanished inexplicably during the course of the game, I would not have minded a single bit. However, during the suicide mission, Jack kept the biotic shield around my team, so she does have one use.
I don't know what I'll do with my Vanguard. The team's got too many biotics on it: Miranda, Jacob, Jack, Samara, and now me.

The pic is actually from when Shepard wakes up after Eden Prime. He's waiting for the verdict, hence the closed off look. He's bracing himself to be yelled at.
Even in my renegade playthrough, I couldn't yell at him. I mean, look at him....
