Things that Kaidan / Ashley may NOT know about, but make Cerberus even more evil / stupid:

-  the events of Mass Effect Ascension, where Cerberus infiltrated an Alliance biotic training facility, the Ascension Project, and forced a red sand addict to give his autistic daughter biotic enhancing drugs that would also give her seizures.  Then they tried to steal the quarian Flotilla's transmission codes and blow up the Migrant Fleet.  Why?  Because TIM doesn't like that they have a lot of ships.

Don't forget that the girl's biological parents were manipulated by Cerberus into giving up their daughter in the first place.  Then she was given to the guy to "raise as his own daughter" but then was taken away from him for the project.  Then the adoptive father was coerced into helping to perform experiments on her.

TIM and Cerberus are very twisted.  No doubt about it.

EDIT:  Wouldn Kaidan want to see TIM killed?  I don't know.  I think he would want to see him get justice.  If there wasn't much choice, he'd be okay with him being executed without trial, but Kaidan tends to play by the rules.  I think he'd rather see TIM go through due process.  Then again, we have to temper that with the fact that we don't really know how much Kaidan has changed in the past (now) 3 years.  And the fact that we know that there are Cerberus agents high up in the Alliance.  So due process might not work anyways.

Kaidan wanting to have Timmy go to trial would depend on a lot of factors we simply don't have information on.
Is TIM indoctrinated and a human equivilant of Saren? If so, does that make him criminally insane? Is he just a meglomaniac who can afford to have entire legal teams keep the trial in limbo until everyone dies of old age?
Has Kaidan been 'hardened' in the two years since Shepard's death? Does he work for the Alliance or for the Council?
At this point, Kaidan has most likely been investigating Cerberus for some time. He is likely more aware of crimes that Timmy has committed than Shepard is. How cynical has that made him?
It's interesting speculation.

Okay I is caught up.

I am not upset with Kaidan for blowing up at Shepard on horizon ... I agree Cerberus is doggy poo poo.

My Shepard was a bit upset that he wouldn't listen or in fact was not even curious enough to ask questions of her ref her being clinically dead or the fact that she still wore N7 armor... or the fact that Garrus was there ... You would think he would want to say Damn it Shepard what are you doing and want a real answer.

I do not think he should have dropped everything and joined her... did I want him to do that ... of course I did, but in his real life, I don't think he would have... he might have, after her explaination and hashing out ... asked Anderson/Hackett what they could do to help, but that is about it I think ...Something along the lines of:

'I believe you are trying to help, and I accept that you are using Cerberus as a means to an end but there I no way I could leave my Alliance post and work for an organization like that under any condition... but I trust you so I will help all that I can in the information department'...

so they could have done something like that ... the Alliance officer working to help you behind the scenes and I would have found that much more plausible then the OOC play of both of then on Horizon.

And Yes I am one of those Shepards that doesn't trust Cerberus... Hate working with them... Does everything she can to undermind them....and loves it when she tells TIM where to go.

Someone don't want that people know the truth of what happen, when you talk with Jacob, he says that the alliance hid Shepard's death...my question is...why? why they did that?, if Shepard was a hero for everyone, she was the first human spectre and the saviour of the citadel (and hell...the saviour of the entire universe)...

Also why had the Normandy attack never been investigated - then they may have known that the Collectors were involved with the Reapers instead of waiting two years & thousands of dead colonists!

Ahh, Kaidan looks so ridiculously handsome in that screenie! Love it.

I don't think they hid it, they just covered up the fact that Reapers did it because they think Reapers are a myth constructed by Saren. There is a big Shepard memorial where honeymooners like to vacation. But officially, Shepard was killed in a Geth attack.

As for the Horizon debate, if I was in Kaidan's boots, I don't think I'd react any differently. If you play through all of ME, I don't know how you wouldn't hate Cerberus. They inflicted so much death and suffering on alot of innocent beings. Plus, Shep was dead. People usually don't recover from that so I get him being shocked and appalled. And she could easily not be the same person that he remembers, even if she looks the same. 
I've always thought Liara's wish to resurrect Shepard was a tad selfish. I can't imagine the kind of psychological trauma a person would go through, and it was because Liara missed her. It's not like Shepard asked to be revived; she was dead so she had no opinion either way.

Edit: And TIM took advantage of this, to make Shepard works for him....clever TIM, very clever...

But I'm still thinking that he sent the collector vessel to destroy the normandy and take Shep's body to do his experiments (I even think that TIM is a servant of the reapers, well I know that's too much, but considering what happen with Saren...I have my suspicions of TIM)...

Call me paranoid if you want XD!

The Alliance have info about the reapers, but they still don't believe on it?....sorry, I don't buy it.
