I worry a bit with what they've done with Liara now post-DLC. She's back in the romance and she's in an important position to help Shepard. But does that mean that she won't be able to be a squadmate in ME3 because she has too much important stuff to do as the SB?
I want Kaidan to have a meaningful role and for the romance to continue, but I also want him on the squad and not permanently stationed somewhere apart from my Shepards. I want him by her side again, helping her fight the good fight and lending her his strenth to lean on.

I want Kaidan as a squadmate. I need him. I will freak out if he isn't. I think Feron can handle things for Liara while she joins the crew in ME3 so at least they have it set up to allow her to leave...if they choose to. I really want Kaidan and Wrex back as my squad for ME3 but I'm afraid they will find some reason to keep Wrex away. Kaidan next to me all the time though...I really miss that. Never realized how attached I was until I lost that. Ugh, BioWare, you better make it up to us.

I was thinking that once Liara has things settled down at the Lair perhaps she could work remotely from the Normandy.  And I'm sure that EDI would/could be a help with that as well.

So BioWare can just log those metrics!

Don't forget the dossier. I always wanted to know how many sit-ups he does. Bioware can write that, but nothing for Kaidan and Ash? Great.

That was annoying but the part of LotSB that stung the most for me was that when Liara asked what Shepard was fighting for, and EVERYONE but those who had stayed faithful to Kaidan or Ashley could mention their current love interest.  How crappy.  I can forgive no dossiers, but that's just rubbing salt in the wound of those who haven't given up hope.

This is why I didn't get LotSB. I won't purchase BW stuff until there's content that I absolutely love.

I can't even forgive the dossiers anymore, given that some were completely unnecessary in my opinion like Bailey's. It's sad to see how Bioware keeps forgetting about my two favourite characters in a video game.

The only thing i got from LotSB was when i answered 'im frustrated' (i think) and Liara answers 'Yes, I heard what Kaidan said on horizon'.

I want to believe that them forgetting about Kaidan/Ash is just an oversight and they have something awesome up their sleeve in regards to them. But I'm afraid that is probably not the case and they have either plain forgotten or just don't care. I mean the way they pushed those romances in the second one, it makes me think they don't have anything big planned for them in ME3. Sorry pessimistic mood today.

yeah, I'm thinking on that too...It seems that we are a minority who want the return of Ash and Kai, there's so many people who hates Kaidan (mostly male players ¬¬ and no offense to our few mens here on the thread)...

I hope that BW don't forget us... (well, it seems that they still forget about us)...¬¬
I promise that I won't buy Bioware games on the future, if they don't give us Kaidan for ME3...Hell yeah, they are gonna lose one customer and one big fan!!!

I know what you mean, Reverie. Oversight, okay - but every DLC so far except one? Even in LotSB it's just one throw-away comment where the relationship is yet again not acknowledged. And that's not mentioning all that was wrong with Horizon and the rest of ME2.
Honestly, if Kaidan doesn't get a DLC as good as Liara's, then I'll lose hope for ME3.

Well, after stratifying the data from my poll today, Kaidan is really more popular amongst the ladies than men.

Males gave Kaidan a mean of 5.12 and a mode of 5.00.

Females gave Kaidan a mean of 7.61 and a mode of 10.00.

Significant difference.
