And it's a minefield to wade through until then. He's the easiest one to get ninjamanced by, IMHO. It was difficult to keep away from the flirting with Avery who was just trying to stay faithful.

LMAO at ninjamanced.

at first i tried to talk to jacob, but every conversation option was worse than the last... so i went back to an old save and just avoided him.

i far preferred Garrus, where you just say "goodbye" when he starts talking about stretchy time with the turian chick from his old ship...

That's why I never go to talk to him until after his loyalty mission. After that he's alright and my loyal FemSheps don't sound like they want to drag him up to their cabin cavewoman style.

For those reading my R&R, Chapter 6 is up. You get Horizon from Kaidan's perspective.

XD!...Shep have her needs...but at least, my femshep is never too desperate to go with jacob...(I tried that, but it sucks...all the romance options are awful (the priiize thing...WTF!)...



I have 2 femsheps, one went with Garrus and the other one went for Thane.

The rest of my femSheps are loyal to Kaidan....

D'awww... :blush: Maybe I'm in the minority, but I didn't mind the Jacob romance. I'm probably too easily enamored by glorious abs, but I thought he was kinda sweet... and a fine smooth talker that turned me into goo a few times. (The priiize thing had be cracking up, though. The sweet 'I love you', though it felt outta the blue, kinda made up for it... as well as the abs and my Shep's rape face. lol) That said, I'm not a big fan with any of the ME2 romances. I've tried all of them and still prefer staying loyal Kaidan. I have maybe six femSheps. Half try the new LIs and the other half stay loyal. Someone previously mentioned that the ME2 romances felt out of the blue and can only be initiated by Shep even if the LI showed no signs of interest; that's what kept me from really enjoying the romantic subplot of ME2. That and little to no emotional build up! :< Thane comes a little close, but I dislike how th romance is initiated. (He tells me of his late wife and outta the blue I say, 'I want you'??!)

I missed the build up! Kaidan's shy little smile, his slip up on thr Citadel, digging for info to see if Liara was competition, Virmire, the locker scene, and the awesome awesome AWESOME love pre-Illos scene. ME1 did romance goooood! :wub:

In a world without Kaidan-- that is, if ME had never created him and he just didn't exist-- I would have gone with Jacob in ME2. I think he's cute, but I don't like what the writers did with his forced flirtation dialogue. Not one bit.

lol I agree. That's how I feel with all the ME2 romances. Initiating all the romances made me feel like Shep was really horny, which seemed out of character to me. :blink: In my first ME2 playthrough, I was surprised with how forward Shep was. Romancing Kaidan back in ME1, I didn't come across any dialog that was overly flirtatous until the love scene. Though by then, it seemed natural for them to converse like that.

Now I'm really missing Kaidan.

I guess it's about checking out the "compelling" ME2 LIs! You don't need the boring ones from ME1 anymore. Image IPB

I've said it already but I'll say it again - with how ME2 and so far nearly every DLC was handled in regards to the Kaidan romance (or even, you know, a mention of him), I'm not too optimistic for ME3. Especially if there isn't going to be a VS DLC.

... haven't  played LotSB as of yet, but tIM has been the creep of the ME universe for me since he sent Shepard that letter informing her that he knew her size.  The constant surveillance doesn't help, either; perhaps tIM wants Shepard to move on from Kaidan just so he can see her in action with the new ME2 LIs.  :huh:


Just what do you have against Kaidan, tIM?  <_<
