And it's a minefield to wade through until then. He's the easiest one to get ninjamanced by, IMHO. It was difficult to keep away from the flirting with Avery who was just trying to stay faithful.
LMAO at ninjamanced.
at first i tried to talk to jacob, but every conversation option was worse than the last... so i went back to an old save and just avoided him.
i far preferred Garrus, where you just say "goodbye" when he starts talking about stretchy time with the turian chick from his old ship...

I have 2 femsheps, one went with Garrus and the other one went for Thane.
The rest of my femSheps are loyal to Kaidan....

D'awww...
I missed the build up! Kaidan's shy little smile, his slip up on thr Citadel, digging for info to see if Liara was competition, Virmire, the locker scene, and the awesome awesome AWESOME love pre-Illos scene. ME1 did romance goooood!
And to make my post even more about Kaidan, I come with smexy Kaidan/Shep fanart: http://m-lyn.deviant...-Regs-181298378

D'awww...Maybe I'm in the minority, but I didn't mind the Jacob romance.
In a world without Kaidan-- that is, if ME had never created him and he just didn't exist-- I would have gone with Jacob in ME2. I think he's cute, but I don't like what the writers did with his forced flirtation dialogue. Not one bit.

lol I agree. That's how I feel with all the ME2 romances. Initiating all the romances made me feel like Shep was really horny, which seemed out of character to me.
Now I'm really missing Kaidan.

Hmm. I apparently missed it the first time around, but you can actually admit to tIM how hard it was to see Kaidan again? What... kind of... why? Why, Shepard?

Really? Not that I would admit it to TIM, but really?

I think I missed that too. Is that the 'neutral/middle' option? I usually told TIM to mind his own business.

I never take those options since it's rephrased to something along the lines of "I've moved on and put it behind me", which is something that's forced onto Shepard enough in the game without me picking those conversation options.

I've said it already but I'll say it again - with how ME2 and so far nearly every DLC was handled in regards to the Kaidan romance (or even, you know, a mention of him), I'm not too optimistic for ME3. Especially if there isn't going to be a VS DLC.

Paraphrased:
TIM: "So, you've moved on..."
Paragon!Shep: "Get bent!"
Neutral!Shep: "It was hard seeing Kaidan again, but I'll deal."
Renegade!Shep: "Yes, master!"
... I can't even make a double entendre. DAMN YOU, TIM!

TIM got way creepier to me after LotSB and reading his secret dossier... You know he's thinking about getting Shep out her armor and adding her to list of famous chicks he's been with...
Oh, Force, no! Shep is not taking off her armor for anyone but Kaidan. Or at least, mine isn't.

... haven't played LotSB as of yet, but tIM has been the creep of the ME universe for me since he sent Shepard that letter informing her that he knew her size. The constant surveillance doesn't help, either; perhaps tIM wants Shepard to move on from Kaidan just so he can see her in action with the new ME2 LIs.
Just what do you have against Kaidan, tIM? <_<

Double entendre? What would you have told him, Fire?
