Someone who posted in this thread a few times, imported beer, said that's what happened to her.  She turned Kaidan down the night before Ilos, and yet his pic still showed up on her desk, and he still mentioned the night before Ilos in his email.

Apparently, Shepard is so awesome that even putting someone off for sex is a life altering experience.

ON a serious note, I can see why he'd still think it was important if you let him down easy and just told him, "this wasn't the time." or whatnot.

I do love the delivery of the "If you keep me waiting any longer..." line.

He wants it BAD!   But I had to reset and do him after that.

Yeah, it's a great line.    I actually really like the fact that the romance isn't contingent upon a consummation that they both know is against the regs.  If they decide not to break that rule, it doesn't mean they don't care for each other.  (My canon Shep didn't turn him down, but I'd be interested to take one who did through to ME3 and see any possible differences.  Assuming the romance continuation isn't just a bug on Bioware's part.  I hope not, because Kaidan's delivery of that line is just...  *swoon*  Um.  Very romantic!  It doesn't come across like a break up scene at all - the very opposite.)

You need not.    And following the most tasteful love scene I've seen in a video game, no less.  (DA:O's awkwardly animated underwear-fest could have learned a few things from ME1.)

ME2 could have learned A LOT from ME1 not only sex scen ( somehow hard to call it love scene in ME2 )but romance dialog as well

I loved that line but could never say it to him during my playthroughs. We'll never be able to turn him down.
