I've sort of started a Mass Effect comicky graphic novella type thing about Kaidan's letter, where he's all, 'Yo so I'm seeing some doctor' or whatever.
He's not very specific about it, for one -- and so my nerd mind gets to play. Also not much content involving Kaidan as an introspective or deep person at all.
This starts off kind of whiny so be forewarned, I am AWARE Kaidan isn't all BAWW WRISTCUT about stuff normally, so it's really weird for me to draw him that way, but yeah. Trauma and stuff does things to people. I'm interested to know what you guys think.
I've done page one and I'm inking pages 2 - 4 currently.

As for the art in this first page it's not up to par of what I normally produce but I thought I'd do something a little bit different. 'Get rid of the lines,' I thought. 'It will make it look NOIR.' Instead I succeeded in making it look like ass so I will never make a comic using the same method again. I stretched out the turian's face a lot and some panels just look terrible. OH WELL. Lessons learned for other pages.

I'm jealous - this is very well done and I adore the colour scheme. (When I tried to draw a comic, I never managed to draw past the first page. )

I guess so! I checked the last couple of pages of the thread, though, and didn't notice it posted there. Sorry if I just ended up repeating what you already knew (I might have missed the post somewhere).

But yes, I'll pop over and say hi to her and thank her for the lovely Kaidan art.

EDIT: Can't actually find the thread she's posting in at the KAAS, but good wishes are intended in general!

For some reason, that search keeps giving me two non-free books, and not all of the download links are working (DAMMIT). I really wanted Hara's Legacy too, for no reason (if you look at the cover, you might be able to guess )

i think it would be nice to have myriad covers with squadmates from each of the games alongside default maleshep or femshep. that way no one is left out. every fan, i assume, wants their favorite character prominently displayed on the merchandise.

I think that could get a bit much, but a reversable sleeve with both femshep and maleshep atleast.
