I mean what guy would not like a woman who can toss people hundreds of feet into the air, has a Geth Pulse Rifle, and squee's around them?
I just cant stop laughing while playing an Adept its just to funny to see people, mercs, krogan, etc go sailing off into the sky.
Still waiting for the VS DLC Bioware.

I had a terrifying dream last night that Kaidan had another cameo and it was extremely cheesy and OOC and that cutscenes were done with live action people and Kaidan was all flabby and Shepard looked all old scrawny and janky and stuff...
I blame the sleeping pills >.>
Gosh dreams, the dream I had a few nights ago was of me holding the ME3 cover in my hands and being sad Kaidan wasn't on it but Ash was. Started playing the game and I saw Ash, who is dead in my games sadly, but there she was.
Rushed to the pc to look on the forums to see if it was a bug, but couldn't find anything, nobody mentioned Kaidan at all. No info on the website anymore either as if he never existed.
Dream continued with me playing ME3 as fast as I could, skipping through dialogue and going "where is he?". Finished the game, no Kaidan. The game was extremely short in my dream, as if it was a demo, and my Shepard was dead by the end of it. I woke up in such anger rofl The rage lasted throughout the morning.
I really hate angsty gaming dreams

Yeah, I've had a dream similar to that as well.
It sucks that we're pretty much at the bottom of the heap as far as popularity/romance is concerned

That would be fantastic... but bioware seems always to assume that hetero manshep left him on virmire. sigh.
Exactly. Marketing Shepard Virmired Kaidan, as seen in the trailer that featured Ashley for ME2. I don't think they'll deviate from that for ME3. According to them, it would be "confusing" to players to see optional content. They seem to have little regard for the intelligence of consumers.
Also, as evidenced by other Bioware games like Dragon Age, no matter how large and important Alistair's role was, he was completely shut out of ads. And Jacob had previously had his own game, yet was only seen in the background or on the edge of screenshots before ME2 came out. Leading Human Males are apparently a marketing no-no. I guess they're at least partially right, considering the hate that Carth, Kaidan, Alistair, and Jacob all got from certain gamers, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad to ignore the segment of fans who blindly hate male characters who are not the main protagonist?
I'm not expecting anything for ME3 -- I don't even think Ashley would be considered "cover girl" material anymore. She isn't flashy enough and her uniform isn't painted on. Definitely "boring" to marketing.

Jesse Houston:
" First, let me say that BioWare values all of the romance options in the Mass Effect series as equally important. No matter who you choose to romance or whether you play male or female Shepard, each romance is equally important to the story and outcome." (Link)

What are you talking about? Marketing Shepard will be flanked by Ashley AND Miranda AND Liara. Ashley in the skin-tight pink armor, and Miranda with something low-cut enough to make an asari blush, and Liara practically naked. Or heck, maybe they'll give in to the Talimancers and stick her on the cover with Dem Hips.
Meanwhile, every male LI, from Kaidan to Garrus to Jacob to Thane, will be ignored.

Well... We're not really, are we? Jacob and Morinth are the least popular romances and least liked characters. Joker isn't even an option. :'/ Instead we get Kelly, and scale itch.
But I too, feel very, very, very ignored as a Kaidan fan right now. It feels like they'd rather give us Urz as a squadmate(or even LI ¬_¬) than give us Kaidan back. *sigh* I'm losing whatever hope I actually held in Bioware. We're halfway through October an no announcements...?

Grunt is the one I might peg to do that though.
If the VS gets put in ME3 I will be happy, but thats along time away.
I am excited though since I get DA2 and TOR next spring though.

I had a dream I was behind in all my homework and didn't have it to turn in. Time to crank the midnight oil and get everything finished for the week instead of slowly trying to finish it in between fun stuff.

I doubt that Kelly would sleep with a Varren.

Apparently, scale itch was on the Normandy2 before I let Grunt out of his tank. It's possible that one of the crew got scale itch from someone else who had scale itch, since it seems to be a widespread problem....

Funny story... Marketing Shepard both Virmired Ashley and slept with her in the ME1 trailer. And Marketing Shepard somehow kept both Ashley and Kaidan alive for the run to Ilos. I think Marketing Shepard edits his saves. XD

I love Ashley, when you talk with her she's so nice (she talks about her family and stuff) I always think on that when I have to do that damn choice, why BW?...why didn't you put an option where we can save them both?...Damn you Bioware!!!

I always disgust the whole plot of leaving someone behind on virmire....choosing between your love and your friend (because that's Ash to my Shep) It don't seem fair.

Given that you can't save both Kaidan and Ashley in ME1 it really annoyed me that it was so easy to keep your whole crew alive in ME2 through what was billed as a suicide mission.

I agree completely, Shenzi.
I managed to save everyone on my first playthrough without even trying - it's almost harder to kill someone on purpose. The Suicide Mission was a joke given how much time the game spends making it out to be something it just isn't.

Honestly, I'll believe it when I see it. Virmire survivor fans certainly aren't equally important right now.
