Okay.. what I'm going to say probably wont grant me many friends here, but hey I'm already not friends with anyone here. Anyways.. a picture here or there I'm fine with. But for the past few days page after page of (sorry lack of a better word) spamming of the "Kaidan on Kaiden" has gotten a little old for me. Maybe it's my age showing *shrugs* I'm not trying to ruin anyone's fun here, but I truly enjoy the conversation much more than those pictures.

Quite honestly, the thread as a whole has been devoid of substance for a while. This isn't meant as a bash on anyone; frankly, it's to be expected since there's absolutely nothing new to talk about on the Kaidan front. I don't have a problem with seeing new screenshots and I don't see how two fully clothed men kissing, albeit the same man, is nsfw.



That's just my two cents since I've been here since the beginning :/

Some people on here requested it and I posted it for them. I absolutely don't mean to come across as confrontational but the NSFW thread is for 18+ fanart, fanfiction, artistic nudes and so on. I did not post anything of that sort here.

I'm not expecting any kind of substance. Fluff conversation/talk/whatever is fun. So are flufff screen shots for the most part. And while I agree with Sesheta on not wanting to see the pictures constantly I should of pointed out I don't see them as NSFW (I've seen a lot worse online). However I knew I was one of a few who didn't find the pictures entertaining. I should of kept it to myself. I'll retreat now.

I prefer the lighthearted picspam to the depressing circular argument as to whether it was Kaidan/Shepard/both who was in the wrong on Horizon.  But that's me, personally.  *shrug*

Although I did have an observation to bring to the table: In Kaidan's letter he states that lost friends on Horizon.  He also states that friends set him up with the Citadel doctor.  I suspect that these friends might be one (or some) and the same, seeing as how Kaidan does seem to have a hard time making friends, and any friends he did make would probably be Alliance personnel he worked with.

In short: Poor Kaidan.

Yeah, but even if it doesn't do anything for you personally (like I said, it doesn't for me either) is it really necessary to try and keep them from being posted?  Just scroll past; it's no big deal.  Or post a pic you like better.  Or start a conversation.

As far as I'm concerned, keep the Kaidan on Kaidan pics coming.

The KaidanShep pictures were done as a bit of fun by someone doing a creative playthrough. Said person chose to come here and share them with us for amusement. Of course it has gone on for days, Chignon can't be expected to finish all of ME1 in a day. It was really less about some titillating m/m action than it was about showing off what you can do with character models in the game.

I'm sorry you feel as though you've been forced to view unclean images, or that someone was "spamming" you with unwanted sexual material. Most people took it in stride, as the majority of the images were both tasteful and funny.

At any rate, you can rest assured that your ungracious comments will probably convince Chignon and anyone else who tries something similar not to bother sharing, so you're probably save in the future. I hope this pleases you. I was rather hoping people could be more mature and accepting, but I've learned to take the world as I find it. And not to be rude, but blaming your lack of open-mindedness or manners on "age" is ridiculous - there are some people in this thread (and the group) who are older than the average gamer and have no such issues. All right, that probably was rude, and approached an ad hominem attack, and I still feel it needed to be said.

Not everyone in this thread is a giddy college age girl. They aren't even all female. And some people, apparently, really are here just to read the articles. An atmosphere of mutual respect and courtesy will make this thread much more fun for everyone. Calling people who share their work names is neither courteous nor respectful; implying that people who enjoy a particular aspect of life are indecent and need to be locked away is not particularly courteous either.

At the very least, you could have been impressed with the technical wizardry in replacing Shepard with another character model, if you weren't so hung up on the fact that two males were touching.

I don't recall calling anyone any names. I simply stated my opinion that I didn't care to see pictures of 2 guys kissing. I forgot that only certain people are allowed to have opinions in this thread. I don't consider myself to be closed minded, my best friend is bi, so I certainly don't have an issue with sexual orientations, but I just prefer not to see it. I am one of the older ones in the thread at 47.



And the mutal respect thing works both ways. Perhaps such pictures can be just put in as a link for those that want to see them.

I think his point, Sesh, is that there shouldn't be a double-standard.  If people can post femshep-Kaidan kissing pics to their heart's content as long as it's fully clothed, then they should be equally free to post fully clothed Kaidan-Kaidan or Kaidan-mShep pics without having to link or put them in the NSFW thread or anything like that.

Reverie, I made the screenshots as I went along in ME and as anyone playing through the game, it took me a few days to complete. It wasn't my intention to spam the thread and I apologise for that. I only chose pictures, that I thought others might find funny or were otherwise requested.

I posted the first screenshots of the Eden Prime mission a week ago or so and some users asked me to post more and started to request specific things. I only posted them for the fun and enjoyment of the ones who requested them. I did not mean to offend.
