Thane is a great character and if my femsheps wouldn't be so obsessed with Kaidan I would have thought about romancing him...:) I might do it after ME3 is published...but I would make a new character then in ME2...because if I start a character in ME1...lol...my femshep would end up with Kaidan again :)

edit//  top of the thread  :)

I don't hate Kelly. And I do believe discussing a character can include both what one likes and what one doesn't  like about them.  As regards Kelly, I think she's got a lot of spirit and likes people a lot.  I find it odd that one's admin is also the ship's "shrink".  Dr. Chakwas would probably be more likely in that role.   My primary objection to Kelly  is that once again we've got a psychologist being portrayed in a way that (from the perspective of someone who is in the business) appears to behave in ways that are not appropriate ethically or, possibly legally.

I enjoyed Ken's accent and wish there could have been more flirtiness.  I also was dying to point out to him that he had this perfectly wonderful woman following him around from ship to ship and she wasn't his sister!

I wanted to get to know them both better, but not as romances.  That my Sheps all save for Kaidan. Posted Image

I dunno; Bioware has gone on record as saying that there will be consequences for cheating...

Bioware says a lot of things on record that are the truth from a certain point of view. Like Obi-Wan telling Luke his dad was dead. Well, yeah, okay, no? Yes. But not really. But kind of. From a certain point of view.

There weren't a lot of consequences in LotSB.

What happened, I never romanced Liara or cheated so...I'm a little in the dark.

Sorry Chem - I missed this somehow.   I posed the question out on the forum.  Pretty much nothing from the answers I got.  Here's the thread.  http://social.biowar...index/4768758/1

Just remembered my first playthroughof ME1. I was rather annoyed by the fact that I couldn't customize default face, then there was an opening and guy who looked exactly like I was imagining maleShepard. Furthermore, this guy told me as a tactical review exact repeating of my own minds. Then we became friends. After that, Ashley at first time was left on Virmire.

Two years gone, and I still can't kill Alenko on that mission. And I've got a strange reaction on simple word "Horizon".

What else can I say? Thank you, BioWare

This post is filled with awesomeness.

Maybe it's the stereotype that gets me ... whenever a chick is a psychiatrist/psychologist in films or shows, she always turns out to be crazy, like unstable or obsessive. It's not her fault that I give her side eye.

Yeah, I really hate that. And if Kelly's a psychologist...well, all I have to say is she violates a number of ethical standards and a possibly a couple of laws. lol   I wouldn't trust her within 20 yards of Kaidan. ...although for some reason I'd trust him.

This is so true! It's a huge ethics violation for a psychologist to date a patient. It's like a doctor violating the hippopotamus oath. Seriously creepy.

Only person you'd have to trust is Kaidan, and he's totally trustworthy, IMO.

Kaidan is totally trustworthy.

I'm thinking about writing some fic with him: an AU where Cerberus tries to recruit him instead of Jacob. Kaidan/Miranda, though things don't go as she hopes.

You should definitely do it!  I think it would be quite interesting to explore how his character would react/respond to it.

I like Ken for comic relief, but honestly I cannot get romantically excited by someone who refers to *things* as ''daddy bags''! :/ It is possibly the most unromantic thing I ever heard in ME................

Plus he totally belongs to Gabby! :-)

They say that they 'ran out of time' to do the Ken romance. They also said that they were completely on schedule on the old forums.

So I wonder what the truth is in that. Why was the Ken side-romance cut for Shepard?

Nice one Chig.

@ Fort - it might just have been that they figured the female one was easier to cut since you know females don't just fool around they want meaningful relationships and they had provided us with such good ones.  Oh and they would never stay loyal either, I mean the new LI's were much more compelling then Kaidan.  [/sarcasm]

@ Jen - I agree, he totally belongs to Gabby.

Edit: I wanted my sarcasm in a differnt place.

Tbh it is starting to really get on my wick, the sheer number of people who find Shepard attractive on the blumming Normandy................................ Haven't these people got anything better to do than ogle someone who really doesn't need the distraction.....? <_<;)

I wouldn't have been interested in Ken. I prefer older, more mature sorts. I'm strictly a Kaidan and Thane girl. Mostly Kaidan.

Yes. All I want to do is set Ken and Gabby up. He'd make a good buddy for my Shep, but nothing more then that.

Shepard matchmaking in her spare time? Now that is something I can totally get on board (the Normandy) with, lol! :o (excuse the pun, but I had to..........)

That statement made me think of this:
Granted it's directed at M!Shep, but still made me giggle.

I felt like when I was playing ME2 that everyone on the frigging SR2 was hitting on my Shep.

I actually didn't find that ... sheps love interests have to be triggered by the player with very deliberate statements.
