That would have been epic. Maybe instead of us killing the Praetorian (sp?), he comes along in a biotic temper and wipes it out in one go. Then charges towards us to have at it

@ Chi - loved your new Shep/Kaidan pic on the previous page and the one you posted above is one of my favorites!
@ Namira - re stories of podding Kaidan - check out Shenzi's Just because Horizon Was Bloody Awful  on ff.net.  The link is on her sig or in Night's list. :)

@ Reverie - I don't think you're odd person out.  I understand Kaidan's reaction, get his reaction and honestly just think that in large part we're being manipulated so we will be more likely to choose one of the hawt new romances. Posted Image

Sure BW promises us an epic ending to game and romance and I'm hopeful and sure it saves the ME1 LIs for ME3.  But I think money, time and BW interest also played a part in why we didn't see Kaidan or Ash much in ME2.

Thanks, Star.

I like that picture a lot. Kaidan in uniform - that'd be something for ME3 (or a DLC).  Posted Image

I really wish that Kaidan would have "lost it" for a moment. Told his missing girlfriend "Oh, well, I've just been grieving for the past two years, burying myself in work so my mind will stay away from the unbearable thought that I'd lost you forever, putting myself under the illusion that I'm 'moving on', you know. All that fun stuff." Flare those biotics, baby!

Like this?

Precisely!! :o
I love that picture so much. <3
Maybe if Shepard saw this reaction something inside her would have clicked... you know, like a sudden realization that never actually dawned on her in ME2. Her strictly composed man could have proven a lot of things with just a few flickers of his biotics. "Hey... he must still love me! A LOT!" Then, "Kaidan, wait, let's talk this over!"

On a related note, Kaidan has to come back in ME3. I don't care how many people do or do not like him; I don't care for any and all reasons that claim him to be "whiny" or "Carth" or "boring"; I don't care how much time, money, or ingenuity it costs BioWare: They MUST repay the fan-base's deficiency by delivering this time!

Here's a question that may have already been discussed, but I am very interested to see what kinds of opinions it produces: Who has thought out what the much-anticipated Kaidan reunion in ME3 will be like, and what will be said / how will it be said? Would the lingering heartache from Horizon have to be addressed, or would a straightforward, sincere apology dismiss any reason to agonize over it any longer?

I hope they at least discuss it all, even briefly. Otherwise it'd be like her meeting Joker and not hearing a peep from him about her having to go back for him then getting killed...

I kind of think the email was the apology on Kaidan's part. Not to say that I don't want there to be more said but games tend to breeze through that kind of stuff. Shepard will definately have to say something since she really left him hanging.

hmm..I was thinking about Kaidan in ME3 very often. I would prefer to have chance for discussion with him, not only if my PC stayed " loyal" to him, but also if she not. I would be happy, if I could explain him my work for Cerberus, my feelings about Horizon.my thoughts about his " moving on", to tell him that I understand and accept his new relationship ( if he will have one-maybe with doctor, or someone else), explain him my reasons for take next partner, and to have chance to be his friend, or to continue ours relationships and have really happy ending ( definetly not in DA:O style)..What I don't want to see in ME3. For sure I don't want silly mails I can't replay, don't want  fight over my Shep between Kaidan and ME2 LIs like boys from highschool, don't want emotionless responses like on Horizon ( sorry, but for me Shepard talks to Kaidan like someone without any emotions), don't want Kaidan's death ( to save my Shep or something like this). I imagine, that there will be a scene ( and hope it will be very early in a game), maybe in a Shepard's private room ( or cabin, or something) where she and Kaidan can discuss about everything what happened between them by those years without witness...Also, I hope that we will be able to see Kaidan longer than 5 minuts in a game....

How ME3 should handle the Kaidan issue:

Commander,
Something has come to our attention, and you're the only person that can get it done. One of your former crew, Kaidan Alenko is on the Citadel. Word is that he hasn't been with a woman in over two years since you died. Reports say that he has become increasingly irritable. This cannot go on, Shepard. He needs to get laid, and soon.
I'm uploading the coordinates of a shop that you can purchase fuzzy handcuffs, flavored lotions and a sexy outfit. We will be forwarding a sum of 3,000 credits to your account so that you can best prepare for this mission.
Thank you for taking the time to do this for us. I know you work for Cerberus now, but you are absolutely the only person for this job.

Good luck, Commander

Except that Hackett's transmission needs to be one of those audio ones from ME1.  It's that urgent.  :innocent:

But this "electronic mail" is the new wave of the future. We must get on board with it. Soon, every form of communication will be with "electronic mail"

What I'm wondering is how does everyone know your email anyways?

What is is Commander.Shepard@Cerberus.org or something?

...but that doesn't explain how people who don't know who you are have it...

A lot of the emails say, "so and so gave me your address."  Apparently, everyone in Cerberus knows Shepard's email ("one of the doctors here works for your orginization and gave me your address"), along with half of the Alliance (Kaidan apparently knows it and gives it to that Horizon woman before you leave Horizon, 'cause it was there when I walked out of the debrief with tIM).

Although you'd think that Cerberus would have a better spam filter.  Maybe Miranda lets those ones through just so you aren't suspicious of Cerberus reading your email.  <_<

How did so and so get my address? I didn't go giving it out! :crying:

>_> Damn it TIM. This is his fault! This is why you don't get the base Timmy! I can't even trust you with an email address!

Gah. I'm totally not cool with her reading my mail either. The worst part is you can't say anything about it. <_<

Though I lol'd at the spam email. Maybe Miranda was trying to tell dude shep something?

I miss Kaidan. I miss Hackett's voice. This would be an ideal opportunity to bring back both, no? (;

Lol^.

I know some people say that they got it from Udina, which brings to mind an even sillier situation if you are always a jerk to Udina...
Maybe he just doesn't have much to do if you choose Anderson for the Council.

Kaidan's voice vs. Hackett's voice in a fight?  Who would win?  :o
