Well, depending on what your version of slacking consists of, they might just join in.  Especially if you promised them tequila.

I like Ashley more so Kaiden had to die which is unfortunate because I like him. Hard choice. I hope Ash/Kaiden return in Mass Effect 3 with a bigger role.

The colors of this place are off. Too vivid to be real.

Kaidan appears out of the distance and I smile at the site of him in his civvies. We never did get to take that shore leave together.
No one speaks. He just holds me. No Alliance, no Cerberus, no Reapers. Just us.

And then I wake up alone and try to forget.

What would be your / Shep's ideal first date with Kaidan?

I'm posting it here and not the NSFW thread because let's keep it classy. It's a first date.



As dumb as it sounds, I really like to walk. It doesn't even have to be particularly scenic, I just think and talk better when I walk. I'd just like to hear a little more about what he thinks about things.

Keeping it low key would be nice, just kind of dorking around and seeing what there is to see, finding beauty in the small things, you know? Get something to eat that neither one of us has tried before.



Could go for a drink perhaps, or some place where some live music is playing. It's always better to see actual performers. I'm not much of one for drinks so I'd just as easily pass on that to go lounge around someplace. Maybe stand on a bridge somewhere and watch the water. It'd be best if there were seagulls.



That's when a little move would happen I think.

Not sure how the evening would end, but it'd be a nice chillout time I think.

Personally, I would want to see the sort of info we got about Ashley before the first game came out -- but I'd settle for info like the status and occupation of his parents, whether he has siblings, and what he did after leaving BAaT and before joining the Systems Alliance military.  Also, information about why he was promoted twice in the last two years, info on his current/recent assignments...

I have a feeling that if they did do one for him, we just would have learned he has purchased the same asari videos that half the guys on the ship have...

Hey Kaidan fans, first post here. I thought I'd drop by to show my support and make a quick post about Kaidan. I admit, for the longest time I avoided Kaidan in ME1 like the plague simply because I really loved Ashley's character at the time and I didn't want to like Kaidan and thus make the Virmire decision difficult. But after really talking to him, I think he's one of the better characters. He's level headed but still interesting to talk to. I finally finished my canon ME1 run the other day and for the first time ever I saved Kaidan on Virmire. I wanted to RP the decision and go to the bomb site, and I also wanted Kaidan to survive more so than Ashley  so it wasn't a tough choice this time around. I feel like my Shepard and him became really good friends on the SR1. I really hope he's recruitable in ME3, my Shepard wants his friend back on his squad. I have yet to actually reach Horizon, and I've never seen the Kaidan-non-romanced Horizon scene so I don't really know exactly what he's going to say.
