In a way, though, I see Kaidan taking on more of an older brother role.  The more experienced man, who's been there and done that, helping the younger guy along.

It was a bit rich so I only had the one. Now moved on to diet coke and amaretto... and it tastes just like cherry coke. Yummy.

Thx @ all for the nice and warm welcome, I try to keep up with the posting rate but you all are too awesomely quick for me. Oh well I kicked a stone loose with mentioning Alistair, huh? I could imagine that Kaidan and him would be buddies with Kaidan rather taking care like a big brother for Alistair . Though I doubt that my Shep and Lenya (F!Mahariel) would get along very well. They might share the same fierce and passion but my Shep is the paragon through and through and tries to help people while Lenya not really cares about people outside her team because as a Dalish she distrust/hates humans.

Yup David Gaider is DA MAN and indeed very protective of Alistair *raaawr* and awesome as he is as the frikkin godfather of Dragon Age....he has ALL right to do so. Period.

And this answer of him is so magnificent on so many levels:

I don't think my heart could take both Kaidan & Alistair in the same universe. There is no way I would be able to choose between them and I can't see either of them sharing Shep or Warden (with another man anyway - thinking "hardened" (giggle) Alistair & Isabella scenario here, lol).



Totally OT - lazy teen has an overdue english assignment - theme - Belonging. Have to find 3 texts that go with this theme, one of which is visual (art, poster, movie still). Any suggestions would be appreciated. He is currently in exams all week so I get the job of doing the research as usual.

Yes just the braod theme.  Not sure which moron in the Education Department came up with this one (I think last years theme was Journeys which would have been so much easier).
Actual description of task is :
"find 3 texts on Belonging which you have not covered in class.  One text must be primarily a visual text eg a cartoon, poster, or movie still.  the other 2 texts may be any type/form."
