@Jenova65, nix the smilies and the chatspeak abbreviations (btws and such.) You are writing to an entity comprised of people who can make decisions about something we like. Bioware listens to their fans, aye, but they are also a professional business. Be a professional fan!

I agree, and personally, I would not mention other possible love interests at all, since they're not the focus, and he might be distracted by what he sees as pointing out flaws in other characters.  Other than those minor things, I think it's very well written and I'd be very interested in seeing what his response might be!

Before everything I am human being, I am not trying to be professional I want them to listen to me as person who plays games not as a business rep :)
I am perfectly capable of writing seriously, when required, but sometimes the human touch is required and if the odd smiley hurts my cause then so be it! In his replies to many of the comments on his thread he used winky smiles and attempted to interact with the fans at friendly and conciliatory level so I am not going to take a backwards step by being formal :) (and I only used one 'btw', and one 'tbh', so I wouldn't really class it as chat speak, more regular abbreviations to save his time and mine ;))
I understand what you are saying, but this was an informal message and I like to think the subject matter is more important than whether it is a letter I would send on a business matter. I want him to see me as fan and game buyer, nothing more :)

Yea, something worded more along the lines of "Fans of Kaidan and Ashley are still wondering, there's been lots of great things done for the series recently, but we're a little in the dark and here's why."

edit: ^^^^^^

I was trying to say that in my personal experience, companies do not listen to people who use smilies and chatspeak abbreviations in their communications with them. They will, very much most likely, disregard it because of this.
They most oft listen to the serious communicae with well articulated points.

Y'all asked what we thought, and here's what I thought.

I don't think you need to write to them like a business rep, and that's not what I said, either.

Well, as I stated, I have sent the message, so there is no point worrying about whether it could be better or not! :-)

I did ask and I haven't said that you shouldn't have passed your opinion, have I? :) Neither have I said I don't appreciate your input, just to be clear.
I was only explaining where I was coming from in my message and that I wrote to him in the way that he communicated on the thread he made (with winkies and friendliness) I am just replying to you since you were good enough to reply to me, hope that clears things up!

I just got a lovely reply from Jesse, I will just pop the most important part of his reply on here

''I can't give details for obvious reasons. But I can tell you that I've not forgotten Ash and Kaiden at all. They are pivotal to the Mass Effect franchise... I wish I could tell you more!''

How nice is that? :-)

PS he uses smileys a lot too, lol ;-)

Okay, that does raise my hopes a eensy little bit.  I didn't think they'd be excluded from the interactive comic, but I have to wonder how they would handle the romances with it, or even making Ash and Kaidan likeable enough that Virmire would be a tough decision.

I would actually pay to get my hands on the interactive comic, just to see how it plays out...not getting a PS3 just for that, of course, but the comic?  Sure!

You're welcome, he seems a pretty cool guy, I didn't honestly expect anything much at all by way of reply, but that was real sweet that he took time out when he is so very busy........

Encouraging, though ME3 is still so far away. Just one minor point, though... did he seriously misspell Kaidan's name?! That strikes me as ever so slightly fail :D

Weird, wouldn't let me quote................. Hope this works......
It has brightened things, hasn't it! And as I initially said, we didn't need much to put a positive note on things.

Remember it's spelled both ways in ME1. He could be of the camp that prefers the "E".

To be perfectly honest, I do actually think it looks better with the 'E', *runs and hides* It always struck me that that was the way it *should* be spelt :)

Yeah... there's at least a couple places it's "E".  I turn on subtitles when I play because the sound effects are deafening and the dialog is quiet (on the 360).  In a small percentage of those it's "E".

The way it's pronounced it should be an "E".  Otherwise it's Kai-DAN.

@Fort, it is your optimism that keeps us all going, lol :-)
