Sorry.................................... can't...............quite.............concentrate.............
It's that pic, it is just lovely, one of my very faves, so understated, yet saying so much 'if a picture paints a thousand words', and all that.....................

I feel the same way when I see that pic.

If only the pic was panned down a little lower. Aim for the crotch Jhourney! Aim for the crotch!

Did I just say all that outloud?

I don't know, you know................. It seems to encourage the imagination, if your eyes stray to the bottom left

Yes, always leave something for the imagination...frustration can work wonders too you know :P Fun seeing the older pics, but old or not Kaidan looks hot no matter what.

Going through ME1 again (well currently at work so not right now) and I love it. I keep smiling like a goof when Kaidan says something or shouts during battle lol
Actually going to do a ME2 run straight after and looking forward to that too, oddly enough. Twill be my second ever full playthrough of ME2...amazing considering my current ME1 playthrough is like my 30th or something. Think I will get the Kasumi, overlord and Liara DLC this time around, which will be my first bought DLCs for ME2.

So this means I'll FINALLY register a faithful to Kaidan Shepard on Xbox Live since I never played Mass Effect on my Live account. I've been meaning to do that for the past year darnit! No Paramour achievement in ME2 on my account that's for sure, showing my support that way..even if doesn't matter :wizard:

@ Jho. your pictures are just beautiful...and I know I repead myself saying that I don't get tired to look at them.

Actually I started to play ME1 on my new XBox, after I have had several playthroughs on my PC.. I tell you that's a different feeling and I'm still in war with the controller...lol...

And Jho, I feel the same way about Kaidan...he makes me smile all the time and I just love that :)...

Dirae : I just looked at you picture ...that's a beautiful work...and sad ...It's about time, that BW will give us Kaidan back, hm....

I totally agree with the imagination, it means everyone can tailor the picture to their own preference. I personally like that one because I imagine he is going commando in those loose fitting pants and the material texture works well, not to mention it nice to see him in something other than armour that looks like the sort of things he would wear when on duty but not on a mission............. Am I rambling? Anyway, yeah, one of my very faves as I have a weird thing for men in loose fitting pants (my husband wears some beige linen pants that if he knew how much I *like* them he would wear all the time, lol ;))
I will be watching your achievements closely ;) I wish I had known about the paramour tracking way back in January, I never would have tried the Thane relationship (but damnit I want to experience the consequences of cheating in ONE playthrough to get the 'full experience', they keep bleating on about............I am sooooo loyal in every other play through and there are a few)

Thanks guys, your support means a ton :)
Oh tracking my achievements eh Jen? haha...I love having some of you on my Live friend list, it's great to see the avatars. Though most are sleeping due to the timezones no doubt lol

I'll get back to it soon, just got home so I'll be playing ME1 and finishing some work...talk about multitasking. I did get the Sentinel achievement yesterday, but that's not hard since Kaidan is always at my Shep's side lol
Virmire is next.....:crying:

Really though, Virmire or Horizon...which is worse?

Me too! I like it when it says ''Friends playing Mass Effect'' (or any game really..)  :D
Virmire and Horizon sort of suck in equal measure, but the brief glimpse of Kaidan's passionate and noble nature on Horizon takes the edge off, just slightly. I try to view it as the Ross/Rachel break up period that promises a beautiful and romantic reunion at some point...............

Both Horizon and Virmire suck, since you loose something in both places. The loss on Horizon could be mended though, depending on where Bioware will take the Kaidan/Shepard story arc....thankfully :)

Okay before going to Virmire I did some sidequesting. Following up on the Rachni thing with the listening posts. Kaidan just cracked me up big time at the Cerberus station : "Experiments on the Rachni. Failed containment. Didn't we just leave this party?"

It's fun to hear dialogue you haven't heard in a while, if ever. I don't recall really following up on that first listening post quest since the mission isn't active in your journal anymore, even though the completed mission does contain info on where to go next. Anyway, Kaidan's dry humor is just funny as hell :)

Well that PM from Jesse provides some comfort on that front, when taken in context to my message to him, iyswim? :) I know it made me feel better and the fact that Kaidan/Ash are 'pivotal', to the franchise means that BioWare clearly had a long term story arc in mind for them!

True, but I do wish they gave them more care and attention in ME2 then they did, dialogue/animation/detail wise. I get the dark second chapter of the romance, but the execution almost made it feel like an afterthought...pivotal to ME or not. Even without us flycamming there are some oddities going on with the VS ;)
But a lot of those oddities can be seen in ME1 too, for some reason people in the ME universe go cross-eyed ever so easily for example lol
Same goes for Ash and Kaidan not being mentioned in the DLCs at all, which they should have been. Those little details give the feeling of being left out, which could be taken care of if we get some sort of DLC.

Mind you, still great news from Jesse and thanks for sending that PM in the first place, but I do wonder about the WHY at times.

@Jho, I know exactly what you mean................... I guess BioWare AREN'T perfect after all........ That sucks! Ah well, all we can do is hold onto the little positives that we have and twiddle our thumbs until we hear news of ME3!

"Didn't we just leave this party?" Must. Hear. This. Jho, who did you take with you on that mission? 'Cause in my playthroughs, Kaidan's comment usually loses out to someone else. Usually Ash since she's usually the other member of my squad.

We're talking about Horizon and Ashley being prioritized over Kaidan in the games. I'd like the Kaidan thread's opinion on this. Do you agree?

The only way I can figure Horizon and Ashley being prioritized over Kaidan is simply an artificat of male Shepard being prioritized over female Shepard. I actually think the writers did a better job of writing Kaidan in that scene than they did Ashley.

I took Garrus with me as always :) Dunno if it matters but I always pick Kaidan first for my squad and Garrus second.

As far as the Horizon thing goes, I agree with the red panda ;) Sadly it's mostly all about Sheploo T. Kirk and his loveboat :P
But that's the whole femshep discussion again.

I always pick Kaidan first. Second is usually Garrus or Ashley. I do notice that Ashley tends to speak up and overshadow Kaidan. She also tends to stand closer to Shep and sometimes block out Kaidan in shots.

And yet I love Ashley. I always think of Ashley Kaidan and Shepard as besties-- forming a bond out of Eden Prime. Then Garrus or Tali usually fill the void when Ashley dies. I hate Virmire with a passion of a gabillion burning varren turds.

Sheploo is preferred or not, I still think that "you're speaking to a legend, Delan. And a ghost" is better than "you're speaking to God". Maybe it's just personal

It's certainly more eloquent and less exaggerated.  The pious character compares a mortal to a god?  Yeah, right.

Agreed, which again shows the lack of detail for the whole Horizon thing imo. Well I just did Virmire so having a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth. Despite it all, I'm glad it's in the game in a way...it does trigger some serious emotions. Well for those who like Kaidan and/or Ash anyway ;)

But I cheered myself up by loading a previous save and trying to talk to Kaidan while in combat....his tone of voice when he says "Not now commander!" is just...RAWR. Really I keep bothering him in combat mode, just to hear that focused and annoyed voice going all GRRRRR at Shepard :P
