Prolly both, depending on the situation..I mean fighting Rachni sucks And despite that my Shepard is still doing her best Sheldon (from the Big Bang Theory) impression by going "Kaidan(poke poke), Kaidan(poke poke)...Kaidan.(poke poke)"

I really need to do that next time...never ever renegaded him before nor Shepard ...yes I'm a goody goody Shep, I'm weak..:innocent:

But my canon Shep needs to be finished first before going through ME1 AGAIN as a renegade....tempting though...so tempting....

I tried to renegade my shep more times than I'd like to admit. I can understand why some people would find it fun, but I don't.



I guess it's because Shep seems less articulate when she's renegade? I remember someone once saying that paragon/neutral Shepard sound like normal people, but renegade Shepard is all "HULK SMASH"



I can't say I disagree. Might be worth it to hear more Kaidan dialogue options, though.

The kind of renegade that I play is very task-oriented. She doesn't bullsht around when she's got a job to do, so she often takes the blunt, more brutal path.

Honestly, I can't stand renegading him.

I keep thinking, "What the hell is he going to think of me?" Probably, "She's a mean, anti-alien brat who keeps asking me whose side I'm on when I say reasonable things about aliens."

I agree that riled Kaidan=hawt. One of the reasons I'm so fond of that drop onto Ilos when Kaidan gets kind of mad.

Lately, I've been replaying one of my Liara Sheps as just about pure renegade. It's incredibly difficult for me to do. Killing the rachni queen was so so horrible I nearly cried. I'm a big wuss. I only have one Shepard romantically involved with Kaidan and I don't think I can ever replay her as renegade, so Kaidan will stay good... (my Liara Sheps avoid talking to him because he belongs to Ari Shepard and it's hard for me to chat him up with the others... I know, I know, that's weird.)

Yeah I don't do the renegade/evil/whatever thing well either, no matter the game. I tried a renegade Sheploo once, figured that since I wasn't attached to him, he could be a jerk....it didn't work for me and as a result he's still on Eden Prime to this date 

But again the feisty Kaidan is just tempting. Oh well, for now I'll keep poking him during battle

I have only not racist renegades, so I've never seen renegade Kaidan. Is it worth it?

Btw, my first renegade was occasional - finished my first femShep on 50 lvl (Hardcore), then new game + her and get 59 (Insanity), gone completely mad and did it again on Hardcore to get 60th lvl. And yes, all 3 times Shenko. I thought poor Kaidan will say something sarcastic about deja vu

There are a few xenophobic lines in the process of renegading Kaidan, but I ignore those. I really wish there was a way to renegade him without the anti-alien bit. There's a difference between having legitimate issues with the Council and being racist.

Boy, it's hard to visit this thread at times. Seeing all the pictures just makes me want ME3 asap and I so hate waiting, but at the same time, I worry that I'd miss out on any big Kaidan news since this thread would be on top of such things.



BTW, that Kaidan looking at Shepard advertisement just yanked on the heartstrings. Brutal and sweet!

I know what you mean, it was the first place I came after Jesse messaged me back and I assume that it is the first place everyone else comes when they have news on Kaidan............. So even when I am not posting, I am lurking and appreciating the pictures etc!

I know how you feel, Gilsa, sometimes I have to take a break, because I have the vain hope that if I distract myself with other things, time will pass faster until ME3 is announced.  I don't think we'll hear anything, ME3 or K/A DLC wise, until after the beginning of the new year.  Sigh.

Oh, and awesome pics from dirae and ELE!  It always makes me happy to see new Kaidan!!!
