I'm kinda new in this group/thread, it took me awhile to look around at all the wonderful pics and drawings ; you all did amazing job. And now that I'm done looking I thought it would be nice to join the discussion
I admit the only thing I disliked about ME2 is Horizon and like most I hope they will make it up for us in the third one. Honestly I don't think they will disappoint us in ME3, well they better not or they will have a handful of angry fangirls which wouldn't be pretty lol

I love flycam too....

More specifically, I love when others use flycam. I'm horrible at using it. Who else took NSFW screens of Kaidan and have yet to show them to any other living soul because of the burning burning shame?

Didn't someone pm a Bioware employee about this and get a response along the lines of "I can't say anything other than you won't be disappointed"?

edit:
It was jenova65 like six pages ago

:) Yeah, it was to Jesse Houston and he said that Kaidan and Ashley are 'pivotal', to the ME franchise IIRC, and they definitely haven't been forgotten and that he wished he could tell us more. :D

A movie with a pumped up, testosterone filled main character doing impossible stunts without getting a scratch is on now.

Makes me appreciate Kaidan more.

EDIT: Who also has a car that shoots missles from the hood, a flamethrower and an armory hidden in the back seat.

Just a reminder to anyone who wants to contribute or read the new entries, the second round of the Kaidan Prompt Project is happening now. There are already some awesome entries!

New chapter for Renegade Sun is up if anybody's interested.

Chapter 5

Edit: You know Kaidan enjoys his job. He IS serving under Shepard after all.Posted Image

That was exactly my thinking.................. :D And I just re read it, it was definitely 'pivotal to the ME franchise' (franchise also being a key word in context, imo :D) It sure raised my anticipation a few notches!

So I wonder how the writers are going to incorporate the VS in me3? The only thing I can think of is some sort of Alliance liaison to Shepard. Thoughts?

I believe my first guess ever was "Heroic sacrifice at the 11th hour, bringing in the Alliance Cavalry."

I stand by my guess.

It's odd how much adrenaline ME1 still gives at the end of the game, even after the 30th time or something. It's the entire package that still gets me going. Anyway, playing ME2 now and have to say it's more enjoyable than it was the first time I played it, mainly because my expectations changed. This is my second ever full playthrough but the lack of Kaidan in the game does effect the amount of fun I'm having.
Just so used to taking him along to every single mission and side mission that something is just missing in ME2. I wonder what it is though. Is it because this romance is spread across a trilogy that causes the attachement to Kaidan as a character? Knowing the story continues. I'm basically treating the ME story as a Kaidan/Shepard lovestory whenever I play the game...it's weird lol
Just thinking a bit ;)

That's my guess as well. If that happens I will not be impressed. <_<

i treat the game the same. A Kaidan/Shep love story with shep just having a few more things to do, you know.....as saving the galaxy and such small boring things :)

Btw, if they kill the VS they will kill my faith on them as well. And im a goddamn fan since BG and that means many years now

That's the only thing that makes sense to me. As long as he's part of the team I'll be happy. I don't want him to have a stationary role like Liara's seems to be. I want him integrated into the story, missions and ship as much as possible.
I'm playing ME1 again and was at the part where Shepard's helping Sha'ira and Septimus and Kaidan says "hard to imagine a general like that geting upset about a woman.' And Ashley says "that's because you don't understand women, Kaidan." Made me laugh, if he only knew.

Heh, that's what he says there? I usually have him and Garrus and Garrus overrides him, says something similar. The irony does not escape me that neither the current nor future possible LI "gets it." LMAO.
