After Shepard dies in the intro of ME3, tIM (pumped full of anti-aging drugs that were invented on Cerberus news in the interim) gets on the case of eliminating those pesky Reapers once and for all like the hero he is.  With Udina as squadmate and LI. 

(... but anyway...)

Telling Kaidan off at the lockers and apologizing can be fun.  I may simply enjoy watching him squirm, though. 

Then again, he sounds so very happy about the PT I assign him.  :innocent:

When I decided to test different options at the locker scene, I was amazed Kaidan stayed with my bipolar Shepard from hell, lol.

Kaidan: Hey, Shepard, I'm here for you if you-

Shepard: FUUUU I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS ALENKO!

Kaidan: Alright, I'll take a step back, but I'm here.

Shepard: I'm so sorry, I'm just fustrated.

Kaidan: I understand.

Shepard: DON'T YOU HAVE PAPERS TO FILE ELSEWHERE?

Well just finished ME2 for the second time, first time on my Live account so finally have a registered faithful to Kaidan account now. No Paramour achievement for me, ever! Have to say though, that picture scene is still beautiful

Oils are really hard to master - I love this painting and the texture of it. Fantastic work!

I agree. I don't want yet more drama and angst for Shep and Kaidan in ME3.

Especially since its the last one lol. God.. if they argued again. I can imagine controllers being hurled at screens the world over.

sad, angsty, angry, I don't really care. Just as long as its *big*. I'd hate for Bioware to just underplay Kaidan's role in Shepard's life because they feel rushed, or they don't care, or they forgot that we care. Oh, yeah, Kaidan? That old thing? Come on. We have yet another new alien species to introduce. Get with the times.

This is coming from someone who loves or at least is amused by nearly all the alien species in the series.

If its done right, if the writing shows care and effort, then I think the payoff will be gratifying, no matter what emotional note they're going for. That's what the VS deserves-- even if its not happy. Don't shoot me!

On a different subject: I think I'm maybe the last person on earth to discover editing the ini files so that the filtering is way higher. Anistrophic, I think its called? No blurring, no funky glare covering faces. Everything's so CRISP. I love it. I started a whole new game just to retake screenshots.

I'm reviewing how I played ME2 as well. I'm sorry to say that I don't play it with Kaidan in mind at all. I think its kind of backwards for the galaxy to be at stake and have Shepard be all in a twitter with Anderson about some guy. EVEN if that guy is Kaidan. I guess that makes me Humphery Bogart in this situation-- what they have amounts to a hill o' beans compared to what's at stake. The universe first. Love later.

Yeah, she stares at his picture on the desk before the suicide mission, but she's a woman--- not some lovesick girl. I think Kaidan is the same in that regard. It's why they fight (agree to disagree) on Horizon. It's why he doesn't follow her. And its why I happen to think  they're so great for eachother.

To be honest, I've had enough of angsty endings and it gets old after a while. But that's just my opinion.
