This. So much.
Sometimes, I do wish Kaidan hadn't been in ME2 at all.
That's why I've taken to only playing ME1 now, ignoring ME2 until there's any good news on Kaidan and Ash.

They didn't exactly say what kind of surprise, did they?
Looking back at what they promised for the ME1 LIs before ME2 came out, I don't place too much trust into anything that BioWare says.
