So they say that ME1 LIs play a major part in 3. Reckon they could be the ones who finally talk the Council into sending the cavalry/convince everyone to go against the council and charge in with the cavalry. That's my theory if the yaren't going to be a squad member. Otherwise they are probably going to be posted to your ship to 'keep an eye on you' because the alliance wants her/the ship but can't trust Shepard enough to just ask her back. That or you reconcile near the beginning and they come along because you ask them to.



I imagine Shepard realising Kaidan is playing spy straight away though, if they go for that, or at least early on she would confront him about it.

All this talk of Carth the past few days makes me want to play Kotor again. I'm going to have to see if the boyfriend remembers where he left my discs. (Though if he lost them, I'll just get it over Steam). I could never get around to beating Kotor 2 though.

You're not.  KotOR is the last time I played through a male main character romancing a female party member and enjoyed it immensely!  Shut up and kiss me indeed.

Most of the people who dislike her played as female. I played as female and liked her straight away; "I lost my lightsaber! it must have rolled under my chair..." *inserts 'you were in an escape pod darling, where else could it have been?' option* You can't tease her as much as a female, but playing through as male is hilarious when she gets flustered.

How Horizon should have gone:

Kaidan: "You've changed Shepard."
Shepard: Ok, you've made your point Kaidan. NOW SHUT UP AND KISS ME YOU FOOL! *lunges*

I'm sure you will get it done. That's one of the things I love about fanfiction, you can take your sweet time with it and upload in bits at a time. Persevere...what would Kaidan do? He'd persevere. What will Kaidan do if you finish it? Visit with roses and chocolate. Be sure to send a link if you upload it, I'll definately want to read

I also want to play some more KOTOR. I got it on Steam back in Sept.  Carth is so adorable but I still love Kaidan more. He was my first Bioware love.

Ironically, I bet Kaidan is one of those distractions. I don't have the energy to commit to even starting a fanfic atm, when I write them it takes over so I'm best waiting until all my coursework is out of the way

Cool! I've never read any HP fanfic but those 2 are my favs and I'm going to read your story later today. Right now my sleeping pills are kicking in and it's time to drag myself up to bed.  I wish for Kaidan dreams but most likely  it'll be something bizarre and not sexy at all or at least not Kaidan-caliber.

I didn't know so many people disliked her.  I think she is well written and voiced.  The fact that she annoys me so much is evidence of that.  So, I think she is a great character it's just that she drives me crazy.

Bastilla is great, she just lacks an Alistair to make fun of her and take her down a few notches. You can do it yourself from time to time, but it's not as much fun. She could be a proper pain in the arse, but the character was very well made.

Went out last night to trivia (we won!), had a couple of drinks, came back home and passed out trying to check out the thread.

A Bunny Kai Kai for Easter? Haha! Love it! So that's what that hair bump on the back of his head was hiding. Remember though, St Patrick's Day comes first, before Easter...I'm taking bets on how much longer it will be until someone submits art of Kaidan with strategically placed shamrocks.
