Actually I think he would get along with Jacob. Not at first but with time I'm sure they could become friends. I think they'd have a lot in common. Jacob is the only Cerberus personnel I would trust

Kaidan's personality seems very similar to Liara's. And I'm sure the same techniques she teaches Shepard to deal with visions could help him with his migraines.

Okay, so they've got, on the face of it, opposite personalities, and I think their friendship would be a troubled one, but I think after a stormy start they'd find common ground and become good friends. Kaidan wouldn't really approve of the way Jack goes about things, with how she deals with her past, but he'd be able to sympathise, and I think he'd want to help her in some way, even just by being a friend, because compared to her he had it easy growing up as a biotic.

Okay, first of all, what's a "switch"? My translator seem to be glitching..

Secondly, I think Kaidan has a hard time making friends. He gets along with everyone, but it's hard for him to get really close. Especially after Virmire. Now, I don't know if he has changed since ME1, but I doubt that the hell he's had to go through has made him any more easy-going. Or trusting.

But on Jack's romance path you have to reject her advances first, yeah?  It seems to me that it's not about the sexual agressiveness, it's about Kaidan himself only getting into it if his partner means something to him.  *shrug*

That easy to proove me wrong? Darn..  And I agree about his motivations, but up front both Miri and Jack are a bit "let's get it over with". And even though they're not really like that, neither of them, I think that facade would put him off from the get go.

Which is weird, considering that I went into the game expecting to hate him, as every community I'd come across called him a whiner. Needless to say, not true. Yeah,  he's only a human and not a "badass" alien, so they don't bother to get to know him.
