Just imported a ME1 character into ME2 and... is it just me, or did the boobs get slightly bigger? Or is that just the uniform? The Cerberus shirt always looks like it's twisting sideways on femshep.

...yeah, either Miranda gave her... erm, an upgrade or Wilson was puttering around with the Frankenscience.

Kaidan was actually in some sort of trailer. For like, 1.2 seconds, but still there! Except only when he's there no matter what kinda there. And Shepard is sleeping with Liara in this one now?

@someone earlier (sorry, have no time to check it again): we're not worried about Kaidan's presence in ME3, that's a given, but we're kinda worried how the character is going to be handled.

I'm going to guess that this is directed at me.  ^_^

I understand, and that's something else I was trying to get across that, in my tired state of mind, didn't work out as well as I had hoped.  We've a right to be concerned, given what's happened, but because it seems that Bioware has set ME3 up for Kaidan (and Ash), I think they'll do the characters justice and then some.  I really do.  Am I worried?  Damn right I am.  But I still have faith that they'll handle the characters well.

And that trailer was amazing, Batteries! I just finished a ME1 char yesterday and went on to ME2, but now I want to go back. Again. Posted Image

Oh well, I guess there's still time before ME3 comes around..

Love it :)

and.....were are all these shep's guns? Kaidan barely could find a spot to put his arms in a hug with these on her back...glad you removed them :)

Thank you, Sel! Posted Image

I photoshopped the guns so they wouldn't distract.

It's not just you - they look huge in some shots. That's why I was really glad when I found a way to change the armour back to the old N7 light armour.

I can't put my finger on what it is exactely, but this is the sweetest ME pic I've seen. The lighting and the face and the mood of it. As I said, I'm not sure why, but I'm really really loving it.

I'm sure I've read really good fanfic with that storyline - that Liara convinces Kaidan Shep really was dead.

It is very awesome fic.

Ewwww....link please?  I do love well done Shenko.  Makes me squee.:o

It's from one of our very own KAAS members (I can't remember her name on here, sorry!!!), but it's really excellent:

Well... it took a little more to convince him than just Liara....

But I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for recommending it!

Oh wow she's written a lot since I left off.  I'm so far behind on my fanfic reading.  Stupid work. :pinched:

Chris L'etoile wrote Ash, so we could assume that he wrote Kaidan as well. He's now working for Bethesda.

It's really sad that they gave Ash that "I'm not a fan of aliens" line. Chris spent a lot of time trying to explain that Ash isn't racist and that she's isolationist instead (this was way before I joined the ME forums even). Whoever wrote the Horizon dialog and the "xenophobic" description of her on the website completely assassinated her character and undermined Chris' work.

I remember quite the debate on the old forums about Ashley being racist all based on two lines of dialogue.  "I can't tell the aliens from the animals" and the whole aliens don't care about us; we're like their pet dog speech.

Yep.

She's the same kind of misunderstood renegade that I play as. I don't trust the Council at all and I think they're looking out only for asari, turian and salarian interest.

But yeah, it'd be safe to assume that Chris wrote Kaidan as well since they're intentional foils.

Chris L'Etoile didn't write Kaidan, here's a list he made of all the writing he did for both ME1 and 2, on his profile on the Mass Effect wiki: http://masseffect.wi...User:Stormwaltz

It would have been great if he did write Kaidan, because he interacts with fans online, and enjoys talking about his work. It would be awesome if more Mass Effect writers did so.

Nope.  No talking for the ME3 writers.  Back to work with you all until my game ships.

On the bright side people seem to be coming around to her character.  there's a lot of love for an Ash motivational going on in that thread right now.  And love for one VS is always good for the other.
