I don't know, if they redesign Kaidan into a Kratos from God of War 3, they could put a real interactive sex scene in the game just for him! Women would be making appointments just for that.

I have no idea who Kratos is.

And I only saw my husband playing the first God of War, but I distinctly remember seeing the "love" scene, stopping, and laughing at it. Because that is so not like him to play something like that. If it were up to him there would be no sex or romance in video games, only blood and war and grim manly dudes. He was duly embarrassed.

That interactive sex scene minigame in that game(the third one, haven't seen any others) made me laugh so hard. It was pathetic.

Well, it's a comic book. Everything is stylized.

I'm sure Kaidan will appear when the comic book begins discussing Virmire. And also, he is bound to appear in the beginning with Joker.

He better get an equal share. I'm sure he will; no human male LI has shown up in promos before anyway so I don't see why they'd do that with the comic either.

That guy who is not Ashley could be Kaidan.  He's got the lights on his armor like Kaidan, rather than the N7 stripe.  And they probably wouldn't show Shepard from that angle, since they have to make exceptions for personalized Shepards, don't they?  (At least, it'd more likely be the same angle as the prologue to ME2 with the steam interfering with the face).

... The art isn't as bad as I was expecting, but I've definitely seen better comics.

Yeah, I'm just glad PS3 players get the comic at all, in order to meet Ashley and Kaidan.  I'd be very worried about their role in ME3 if all new players could see of them is Horizon.

I'll be interested to see how the comic portrays Kaidan, considering that it's essentially a super-editorialised version of ME1. What do the writers see as "essential" about Kaidan once he's freed of his duties re. biotics exposition?

I honestly liked Kaidan's intro in ME1 - how he was the voice of reason while talking to Joker. This carried throughout the game until Kaidan got melded into Ashley.

Except that Joker was actually right: there was something fishy about Nihlus being on the Normandy.    On all subsequent playthroughs, I have a fond little headshake at Kaidan's starting lines (although he does sound very witty).

You know what I'd like to see? A mutual greeting between the two. No guns, no danger, no threat of being attacked in the next 3 minutes. Unless you, kow, a Reaper comes and we all run onto the Normandy and get away(kinda like the Collector base when TIM first sends you to it ).
Once on the Normandy, things can get more personal once you're alone.
