I've started playing it for the first time just last week...and I was surprised at how much more dialog it has than ME did. It's weird though...every time Carth speaks I'm like "Kaidan?"

Except Carth is much more bitter and sarcastic than our Kaidan. (Though I  Carth regardless of his bitterness and sarcastic humor)

I haven't played too far yet but some of the sarcastic conversation reminds me of Han Solo.

I wonder if that was David G.'s inspiration for Carth?   I appreciated the fact that the character didn't take himself too seriously so you could be sarcastic or teasing in return and not have that somehow break the romance.

You know, for some reason I think Kaidain would be a good cook.

He has to eat 4000 calories a day.  I think being a good cook is necessity at that point.

Out of interest, does anybody have a Shep who they consider would be a good cook? I've noticed that the trend seems to be towards Kaidan being an excellent chef, and Shep being quite likely to simply blow the kitchen up. My personal Shep can cook one or two dishes that she likes, but is a complete incompetent with anything else.

Random fact I'd like to share: I bought myself a lovely new keyboard with quiet keys, so that I can type late at night without keeping everyone awake, and it's AWESOME!

I figure she's badass at everything.  Why does she ALSO need to be a good cook?  I figure my Shep subsists on protein bars to get that 4000 calories a day a biotic needs.

I have a Sentinel Shep who I think would be a decent cook... not a gourmet chef or anything, but she would know her way around the kitchen. My primary Shep, though, the infiltrator, can basically just make toast. I can't see her even liking to cook, let alone being able to do it very well. Maybe Kaidan will have to help her learn. 

And also YAY for a new keyboard!

I actually consider my main Shepard, who is a Spacer, to be a good cook. Something about that her mother got the idea of that her daughter shouldn't be stuck eating army food her whole life, which my Shepard didn't complain over. I have some amusing mental images of her sneaking out in the Normandy SR-2 kitchen by night and making herself something.

Oooh, new stuff is <3 Need to get a new keyboard as well... this one is starting to act up... *Frowns*
