Since it seems like the universe is going to start blowing up in ME3, I hope there's a moment like this where you make a similar choice.

I know, but I think it'd be interesting if there was a moment like this in ME3. Reapers attacking said planet, said planet calls for help. You can either help them and stall something else that is vitally important to victory, or ignore it.

On a serious note, I would also like some tough (but tasteful) decisions in ME3. I would like the mission to acquire an army against the Reapers to employ such things.

I'd bet he's afraid of Shepard.

I dunno about that. But then, I think with my Shep he's just exasperated.

It's not too far off from the interrupts. You only have a certain amount of time for those.Quaay wrote...
How do you all feel about timed decisions in ME3? I'm scared it will force me to rush through my conversations with Kaidan. Hopefully it won't be all choices...maybe just a few key decisions that require a sense of urgency. I was looking forward to ME3 and lately I'm just getting a sick feeling in my stomach when I think about all the changes. I don't like change.

It depends. If I'm talking to some volus about his lost credit chit, it would be kind of ridiculous to put my response on a timer. If it's like the interrupts, and it's a part of the action of a cutscene, then I can see how the timer could make things interesting.
But for most interactions, it would be kind of silly. And what if I want to linger over every conversation with Kaidan??? This is a major concern!

If they're talking about LotSB's, those were way, WAY too quick.
I don't want to see those with Kaid or Ash, in either DLC OR ME3.

That's a great shot of Kaidan and I must say, Virmire is the most frigging gorgeous planet in all of ME1. Pity things had to get so absolutely effed up there

I love Virmire, too. You get some of the best screenshots there.

The contrast between the choice you are forced to make there and the beautiful, sunny day on Virmire couldn't have been greater.

Wouldn't it be horrible if there was a loading screen and you walked away to get another beer and while you away it finished. Kaidan walks up to you and says, "Shepard we need to talk." The countdown starts and in the mean time you're in the kitchen thinking, ya know what would be awesome? The left over mac and cheese. Meanwhile, Kaidan starts tapping his foot and glaring at your mute Shepard. The microwave dings and you starts to meander back into the living room only to find Kaidan storming off again yelling, "Well if you don't have anything to say, NEITHER DO I!" Leaving both you and your poor Shepard to wonder, "what did I do this time?"TeenZombie wrote...
