I miss them both too. ME2 didn't really give you a gut-wrenching moment like Virmire; that was strangely absent in a game touted to be extremely dark and edgy etc.

Anyway, we just have to wait for more dlc announcements and keep our fingers crossed. That's all we can do for now.

I actually thought that's what the actual suicide mission would be like in ME2: A series of Virmire like decisions where you have to choose between two squad members.  By the end, you'd only have about half of your squad left.  Then, on my first run through, only Zaeed died, and my reaction was: Huh.  THAT was a suicide mission? 

I'm also continuing to hope for a VS DLC.  I'd rather have one soon, but my fear is that either there won't be one, or they'll make us wait for it by making it the very last bridging DLC.

I killed Kaidan when I played as FemShep. I just couldn't kill Ashley I loved her way too much...

Excellent! I don't know about you but I had a hard time drawing Kaidan. I have a sketch book half full of failed attempts.

Excellent! I don't know about you but I had a hard time drawing Kaidan. I have a sketch book half full of failed attempts.

Remember everyone, practice makes perfect.  So keep drawing Kaidans and all of us with no artistic talent (I can draw a cotton ball!) will drool over them!

Yes, as an artist the one thing I can say is practice and careful observation are what give you good drawings. Also, don't get attached to your work because there's always room for improvement (and critique will inevitably torch any work)

Pretty much any creative field. It's very brutal out there for arts etc because there isn't necessarily a clear-cut answer like there is for math-based fields.

Thanks everyone. You're right, keep practicing, practicing, practicing. I'm utterly inspired by the amazing artists here and dA, for ME and DA, and that spurs me on.

And yes, critique indeed. I go back to things I've written after a week or so and critique the heck out of it - you need to give yourself distance because what you're proud of at first takes on a new light once you've sat back and done other things. It's all a process, and I can just hope to get half as good as some of the talented people here

what do you guys think would have been in a Kaidan 40sec character profile? What do you think the title would be? What would he have said? Assuming he was one of the people Shepard was trying to recruit in ME2 obviously.

I remember somebody posting a really great summary of what he'd might say in one of those trailers. I can't remember if it was in the old forums or in this one, but it was along the lines of "I didn't ask to be a hero,".

I did like those trailers, I'd like to see more like it for ME3. Not sure who'd be in them since there are too many viariables. Liara, Joker and Hackett, though?

Both him and Ash would of probably of just been "The Solder" or "The Alliance Soldier".

I'm not sure, but if Kaidan actually makes it into marketing this time, I will be SO happy.  I remember walking around Manhattan when ME2 came out and seeing those posters everywhere, and wishing there had been that sort of thing for ME1...sigh.  I'm far too old for video game posters, but that would not stop me...
