In the sidebar, under "Profile", click on "Forum Settings" and add the image or link to image you want to use. Here's an example, just take out the spaces:

I think the Tali, Miranda, and Kaidan threads were all started on the same day and they pretty much are growing the same as before...Tali first...Miranda second...Kaidan third. When everyone votes (and not just a select group) that's pretty much the same way the polls go too.

With that in mind, Kaidan struck me as a tether - someone that helps keep her anchored, even after what he said on Horizon.

If you have Dragon Age for the PC, or the Dragon Age Character Creator for the PC, there's a way to upload your own image, if you have one of those and you're interested, I'll PM you.

The Dragon Age Character Creator is free, and it's available for download on this site! Click on Games on the bar on the top, go to Dragon Age, and then Character Creator.

This holds true for most people Shepard meets. Thats why I love Kaidan. He really seems to be the only interested in (or realizing there is one) the woman under the commander. Everyone else even close friends like Garrus and Tali seem like they only see the commander, a symbol more than a person. I really hope Kaidan returns to provode some support for Shepard in ME3, for seriously how much can one person take alone.
This is why I always take the renegade response when recruiting Mordin.Lisa_H wrote...

Yeah, Kate atleast (not sure about all of your respective ShepardsEshaye wrote...
That's really how I feel about how Shepard feels toward Kaidan, reluctant to let too much of her feelings apparent because she knows how much people depend on her, but she can't help but rely on him because he's her center.
Yes, agreed. The locker scene is great because it's not only about romance, but also a great deal about support. It seems like the one time throughout the whole series where BioWare actually lets Shepard vent and speak her mind - a time when she gets to be angry, frustrated and vulnerable and have someone else come to ease her troubles for a change.Mrs Templar wrote...
Nahni- I love the idea that our strong, brave FemShep needs someone to lean on as well from time to time. That is probably why the locker scene in ME1 is my favorite scene in either ME1 or ME2.
Agreed. This might just be my imagining things, but I somehow got the distinct impression that the Kaidan romance actually goes through several.. well.. stages, I suppose - the way it starts it seems that he has an interest in Shepard and she picks up on that and it starts off on a rather playful tone. As things progress, though, more and more things end piled up on her shoulders and he seems to be the one person who notices enough to tell her not to let it get to the point where she's crushed under the weight. Towards the end, it's serious simply because he's been there for her in a way no one else has.MICHELLE7 wrote...
Yeah, If he makes her feel like she can take on the whole galaxy then she really is looking to him for support. That's the reason I don't get the people that think Shep is unflappable. I guess I get that it's role playing but if you choose to pursue the relationship with Kaidan especially playing paragon she pretty much admits that she needs him. I mean the choice itself seems to define the role your playing.
Funnily enough, the one case where this really struck out to me was with none other than Conrad Verner; the first time around I was too busy wondering what was up with him claiming I'd stuck a gun in his face to really notice. How he seems personally hurt how Shepard had the gall to die when the universe still very much needed her around.Lisa_H wrote...

Yeah, I'm pretty bummed with what they've done to my main adept Shep, singularity is pretty much useless now & nowhere near as good as it was in ME. I am finding that Sentinel is turning out to be my favourite class (not just because of Kaidan either, lol).
I might try that on my next playthrough then. It could even make sense for my Shep as a character - she seems to use an omni-tool far more than she did in ME1, and as soon as I started on those minigames for hacking code or splicing circuit-boards, I imagined one of the Cerberus crew or Garrus and Tali commenting "You didn't used to know much about electronics." and Aki saying "A...friend...taught me a bit about it." and then immediately going all quiet and withdrawn for a minute because said "friend" isn't there.
