After some time I avoided any fandom activity. I realised how annoying I might be and now it's in my blood to keep out from communities like this one - but I'm talking only about extreme cases. I may sound biassed, I know. But I'm tired of "fan"-wars all over the internet, and one of my mottos is "don't like, don't look"

Definetly agrees Shepard needs someone to lay her concerns on from time to time. It simply makes for a more immersive experience to be able to express your, or at least your character's, feelings and concerns.

Especially that Shepard is (imo) a hard character to identify with, even when you are able to "shape" him/her, we don't have much insight into his/hers personal background (even colonist's quest with Talitha wasn't really convincing) or even some opinions. And sometimes Shepard's overtolerant nature and
"all you need to know about me is that I'm a good guy" attitude (paragon case) is almost embarrassing.

Well, since there's no concrete topic ATM, that's all. Actually I wanted to drop by and say some of those pics you guys post here are hilarious. Myself, I make tons of silly captions, having about 6GB's of screenshots from ME/ME2 oblige to something *coughselfpromotioncough*
"Tons" because I don't feel like drawing lately. I just did a quickpic of Samara a week ago and still don't feel like holding a pencil

“Where’s my crew god dammit, Kaidan where are you?” I wish this line had been in the game itself. Just a little something to acknowledge that Kaidan was the first thing on her mind.

Loved the extra you put in the email and loved the one Kaidan sent to Joker. It would be nice if the game had all the stuff with Joker sending Kaidan info...it actually felt a little more like ME to me than ME2 and that's a good thing in my opnion. I usually see things from Kaidan's side, but I like where you went with this...I would love to see a follow up.

Shezni, I love the story it felt like it was a 3 part story instead of just a stand alone type feel to it. I so wished that they would have put that type of dialog in the game at the first start of the game. It would have at least made it seem like it was a transition in the next part of the story.....

Work has been insanely busy lately, but I made time to read this.  Great job!
I really enjoyed Brijenieve's cake and strawberries story too, that was extremely sweet.
Kaidan fanfics make my day brighter.

This why I'm primarily a forum lurker, there's very rarely something worth contributing to. At least in this thread it's very unlikely the first thing that will happen is someone trying chop off your head or the head of your idea/argument just for the sake of it.

This is true and at times frustrating, but it seems the devs have chosen a rather traditional RP path here and allowed players to create much of this background for themselves. And it kinda makes sense considering how much would have to be different in the game depending on pre-service and military history. It would be great, but that's a lot of work and time to put in that might arguably be better spent elsewhere.
