Because Joss, no matter how much I love him and his work, is a cruel cruel man who likes to twist the knife in the hearts of his fans.

It does seem Joss kills off more male roles than female ones though 

A couple of years ago at Dragon Con, James Marsters was there and during one of the Whedonverse panels, and he pretty much said that Joss had originally intended to kill Spike during season 2, but he was shocked by how much fan appeal the character had generated.

Also, from the interviews with Joss that I've watched, he likes to make strong female heroines in his shows, and I think he likes to break them down with terrible angst and heartache (so what's better than killing off their beloveds).

Yep.  He couldn't even let Willow have a happy ending with Tara.

Joss did confirm had the whole Tara angle not happened and Oz had still been on the show in Season 6... Oz would have been killed in the same way.

So much for happy endings. Hmm...I guess ME1 did have a happy, heroic ending. What if they did the same thing for ME3? No real romantic stuff, just heroics with Shepard and a shot of Kaidan.



Ugh, I really need more than that but will they give us an ending shot with a LI in it I wonder.

Not acceptable.  the heroic ending is all very well but after waiting so long & being deprived of Kaidan in ME2 my Shep wants sexy times with naked Kaidan damn it!

What about back hair?  I went to an amusement park as a teenager.  A man had a sleeveless shirt on that I swear was suspended above his back by his massive amounts of back hair.   I think it scarred me a bit.

Personally I think of non-wookie hair as a bit on the arms, legs and chest.
