Ever watch a show called Stargate sg-1?

Some of them, not as much as I would have liked.  I have the new series sitting on my DVR right now.  I was glad to see BSG got to finish, even if it was a bit of an odd finale.

Altho' I am a bit weirded out by the fact that he looks a wee bit like my dad...

Love Sbarge, specially in a few youtube vids where he's talking and laughing, he seems like a really nice guy...and with one hell of a voice and indeed not too shabby looking either



And I dunno what this discussion is about Kaidan needing situps...have you looked at the man? Played ME1? He's got one hell of a body....yumyummmm.

Farscape is my fave sci-fi series of all time. If you ever get the chance, watch it. If you have Netflix, most of the series is currently on instant watch. I personally have them all on DVD.

Farscape is my fave sci-fi series of all time. If you ever get the chance, watch it. If you have Netflix, most of the series is currently on instant watch. I personally have them all on DVD.

My brother has them on DVD also, just need to remind him to bring them over

No he's not a bad looking man at all...

I think Raphael Sbarge is kinda cute but when I gets used to hearing a voice and associating with a particular image, I often find it jarring to see what the person really looks like so I rarely look for a pic of the VO talent.   The last time I did it was after NWN:Hordes of the Underdark -- looked up the guy voicing Valen.  Big mistake (at least in my book.)  Not attractive in my book and it took me a while to shake the RL image when I played.

I feel similar, altho' I had looked up the voice talents of both DA:O and ME simply because I had spent so much time with these characters and was obsessively curious to see what the people really looked like...a lot of times they look nothing like you pictured they would...

Except for the guy who does Zevran's voice, oddly enough to me he looked almost exactly as I imagined he would...

It's not really an attraction issue for me, it just sorta takes away some of the realism of the games...I mean yah we all know that it's fiction and those are actors voices behind the pixels, but we carry that image in our mind of that pixelated character associated with the voice...knowing what the VA's really look like is not a bad thing at all, but it does take away some of the mystery...

I love Steve Valentine to pieces...and it's weird sometimes to play DA:O and listen to Alistair speak...I keep picturing Nigel in the lab on Crossing Jordan screaming...... "For the Grey Wardens!!!"...
