On an unrelated note, my husband just walked in and realized I'd changed my background to that shirtless Kaidan leaning against a wall pic..and walked right back out.

Is that  a good thing or a bad one?

Good.  He puts up with me and all the ridiculous that goes with.  I've been waking the poor boy up at 3 in the morning for the last two weeks and he's been sick.

I couldn't put shirtless Kaidan up as my desktop...my hubby gets hurt too easily.

I couldn't get away with it either.

My ex walked in a couple of weeks ago & saw alistair on my desk top.  when he asked I just showed him the Alistair/Morrigan scene complete with natural mod.  He just shook his head.
Can't wait to see his reaction to sexy shirtless Kaidan, lol
edit : for respectability lol

As far as names go, I WANTED my old one (Gilshalos -- a book character), but it's linked to a defunct email account so that was out.

Sia is my real life nickname. I stuck "later" on the end for the pun factor.

I am drowning my lack of a love life in Mass Effect 2 insanity difficulty and copious amount of e-ice cream

Edit: In response to Doug's comment about how it's gotten quiet all of a sudden

My real-life nickname is Chels (sometimes spelled Chelse with the e at the end silent).  Don't know why, but anyone that's known me for longer than about a month tends to automatically start calling me that.

That is, if BECC hasn't already discovered her secret identity and poded her yet.

BECC:  Let me show you to the new sleeper pods, Dr...Whatever.
Dr: Oh thanks I'm dead tired.
BECC: Interesting choice of words...for a Dr. I mean...

Well I just smoothied them all, that was right wasn't it? *looks nervously at the collection of various Dr smoothies*

(And that's so gonna be my movie catch phrase Posted Image)

*wonders where Becc is going to store all of those smoothies*

I don't think I want to know.

Hmm...soylent smoothies?

Good enough to name yourself after, huh?  Should I be looking for a used copy on amazon?

(chem ligh may read too much)

If you like fantasy books, sure.  I found mine in a used bookstore in northern California.

Just wondering how far north. Most NorCal bookstores seem to be chains these days...except in some of the very small towns.  (Yes, I'm in Northern California.)  My favorite scifi/fantasy bookstore is Dark Carnival in Berkeley.

Real name is Sarah.  My sister had a speech issue when she was very little and couldn't say her "R's."  My name came out "Sia."

Funny thing is, I don't answer to Sarah, especially not in crowds.  Too many of us.  (WE ARE LEGION *ahem*)  You want to catch my attention, yell Sia.

All right then, since the craziness has slowed down somewhat then, I'm going to go get caught up on Lost and then start a new ME playthough for screenshotting purposes.

It was somewhere in the Pleasanton area, as I recall.  And it wasn't a specifically sci-fi/fantasy bookstore.  It was more like a general used book store and I just happened to find that gem.

Ah.  I'm the exact opposite; I'm so used to being the only Chelsea that whenever someone says that name, I automatically assume they're talking to me.  There are a couple other Chelseas that I know at Bowdoin, though, one of whom I share a class with this semester, so whenever the teacher says, "Chelsea" I respond, even if he isn't talking to me.
