He'll make them writhe and suffer on screen before that. Then he'll bring them back to make them suffer more.

I voted, although it took a while to decide which option to go with as there was no all of the above option to choose from.Brijenieve wrote...
You know, my most recent poll touches on this subject..... though it does involve Kaidan, so maybe you don't want to vote on it afterall. Or... you can replace "Kaidan" with "Ashley", if you like. :innocent: It's on my FF site... thus far, the results have been most interesting...

I'm going to go with The Angry One on this one. The series ends after two. Dwayne and Ellen live happily ever after and look after Newt on a planet free of acid bleeding, people killing, aliens. And oh yeah, Bishop get's downloaded into a brand new top of the line body...which looks like Caprica Six and spend the rest of existence starying nekkid into a mirror.Shenzi wrote...

Yes...what a waste. I wonder if Joss Whedon gave them that idea?
Joss actually wrote the 4th one.

You guys sound like my husband and the highlander movies, you ask him and he'll tell you there were no sequals.

It's not Joss's style to kill characters off screen anyway.

Good point. Plus he would probably prefer Ripley was awake to watch it happen.

Alien 3 actually isn't bad to watch, but what they did to the characters... ugh. I often see it as Ripley's nightmare. The 4th one is so stupid I just don't want to remember.

In the words of Joss "Happiness.... ITS FOR THE WEAK" then he broke down and cried. I think he just needs a hug..or three.

I agree with your husband - the other movies just didn't make sense to the Highlander plot at all, neither did the tv series

That is b/c there can be only one. My hubby actually wanted our first son's middle name to be MacLeod, since his first is Connor

I only watched the first and second.
I liked the first, then the second I was like.. ""Wait.. what does this have to do with anything? They're aliens? What's going on? Huh?". From the sounds of it, it went downhill from there.

The *only* thing I liked about the 4th one was Ron Perlman. He is the man

Who thinks I could slide it past my husband to name them Kaidan and Ashley?

I agree.
Bonus points if you get away with Alenko and Williams as middle names.

ROFL depends, does your husband play the game? Ashley would be an easy sell, that's a common enough name. Kaidan might take a bit more persuasion.

I know I'm crazy but I keep seeing a matrix 1 type scene in my head with Kaidan coming in pistol in each hand, biotics flaring, coat flapping in the breeze, mowing down Cerberus ops while rescuing Shep

I initially thought it might provide for some closure if they (Shep and Kaidan and maybe other Normandy crew) went back there.
But after giving it some thought, I think it would just be too painful and they would probably rather spend their time thinking about the future rather than the past.

I was pretty disappointed with the 3rd matrix movie - it was supposed to answer all the questions, but it left me with a hell of a lot of unanswered ones.

I love the scene in the 1st one when Trinity says, "Dodge this." She reminds me of my renegade FemShep

I'm sure there will be a reference to it. After all it is 'evidence' that Shepard is still the woman she was before she died. Well not completely, Cerberus added their gadgets...gadgets that, I'm sure, will come to haunt Shepard in ME3.

Shep only needs rescuing when she's dead.
But given that my femShep in love with Kaidan is currently laying in her bed on the Normandy balling her eyes out over Kaidan yelling at her...... Kaidan needs to swoop in in shining armour, beg forgiveness and rescue her broken heart!

If my Shep is anything like me, after Horizon her room would be in a mess due to a ragefit.
I have a volatile temper.. hence my name, and confrontations like that with a loved one will set me off.
She'd still forgive if he walked through the door... and begged forgiveness, yes.
