Need a few willing victims to review another fic I'm working on, and I promise I'm not beating the hell out of Kaidan up on this one, well not too much .  It's mostly a Shepard PoV piece unrelated to the first piece I wrote last week.

I'm not sure how everyone else does it, mine just seem to develop out of one scene I have in my head and I write the rest of the piece around that scene.  Last week's fic was started by the image of Kaidan being mentally tortured by the project Lazarus files.

I'm always up for reading new ff.  Send it over!

I'm not heartless enough to do that.  Just because I have absolutely no interest in romancing Jacob doesn't mean I have to kill him.

Seen people suggest it on these forums. Kill off the characters you don't care about. And I just can't. I care little for most of the new characters but killing them off is one step too far, after all they can't help it So I save em all and send them on their merry little way. 

I am cold hearted...kill them every time...the LI's at least...sorry...I was just that upset at not being able to romance Kaidan...and now I'm wondering what that "the femsheps are going to be happy" DLC is all about and getting all paranoid about it.

I hope they don't go and rewrite Jacob for it...try to make him like Kaidan because so many people complained...I want Kaidan not Jacob. But as for him,Thane and Garrus...why bother doing a DLC with any of them if they might possibly be dead in someones play through. 

I doubt it'll be anything with Jacob. Her post specifically said that she played a mission. The best guess is a Thane cure mission to someplace to rescue a doctor that's figuring out a cure.

If it had to do with Kaidan at all, it would have to do with Ash. She wouldn't say femSheps specifically then. She'd say something like 'ME1 fans' or 'original love interest fans'.

So, I conclude it's a Thane cure, which concerns me. Yeah, I'm happy for the Thane fans, but I'm worried that my interests will be completely thrown under the bus AGAIN. <_<

I still don't understand why Thane would be the most obvious choice...he isn't even alive in some peoples games. I would think it would have to be someone that couldn't die in ME2 and while I get your point about the femsheps over ME LI's and don't hold out much hope for a Kaidan DLC she still could have said Femsheps because she played the mission as a femshep. I mean I really don't think that much about Ash when I'm playing as my femshep even though I know the role is essentially the same. Not trying to get anyones hopes up here but I just don't know why they would bother trying to cure Thane if in some peoples play throughs he's dead...there would be no incentive for those people to buy the DLC.

What could be in a mission that would appeal to us? Besides a joined mission with Kaidan ofcourse? New armor/gear/gadgets? Uh...no thanks. New shinies add little extra enjoyment for me personally. New dialogue etc does, but that won't be obtainable in a DLC mission.

Maybe we need to take into consideration that they also said we got a fairytale ending in DAO. Maybe they have no idea what would appeal to us.

Indeedie. We can only hope that the DLC isn't that. I don't think it will, like, but you never know.

btw, am I the only one who thought the Normandy Crash site DLC was abit naff?

No surprises there, they thought they had it right and yet Anomen/Carth AND Kaidan were shot down by their (male) fans instantly. I bet it's confusing for them So they go all out to create what they think fans want and it's not really working. Well Garrus fans are happy and some love Thane (who to me has the same background story as Carth did but is more brooding about it), Jacob backfired and Kaidan seems to get more attention than ever.

What on earth do women want? Someone call Mel Gibson and have him electrocute himself in the tub again so Bioware can use him and find out!
