Good morning!  It's 9 am here in NY, so I would have slept in, if my son wasn't like a bunny on crack right now. 

I've been working on a Dragon Age fanfic, based on an idea I've had in my head for a while, but it's so dark and depressing, I don't know if anyone will want to read it.   And I'm worried that Awakenings will invalidate it.  Bah.

Haha, always a pain to translate our school system. One of my guildmates from WoW claimed I might as well go in school on another planet. *Chuckles*
But I'm in the so called "gymnasium", and no it's not the excerise type. Graduating this spring, finally.

 I'm all gamed out between the billions of playthroughs I've done of DAO & ME2.  Was going to play through DAO again to get ready for awakening, but only got as far as putting the disc in the drive.  Just couldn't bring myself to actually play it.
Will send you a pm with a link to the latest fanfic for your red pen when I get organised enough. 
This thread is dangerous - I've written more in the last week than I have for years, lol

*reads* Ok, approximately UK College/A-Level then heh. Well, good luck hun, but try not to get too stressed about it... Cus you've got another 3-4 years of it if your going for a degree

Yeah, the whole "college" thing confuses me because what we call "college" would be roughly equivalent to what you in the UK call University.

Indeedie. And I'm told you have no central education circumulum, so there's no real consisancy between schools as to what is taught and how...?

One of my teachers at GCSE said he'd been there and found it strange.

don't worry about awakenings just write it anyway. Just go with your take on things regardless of the bioware writers - they've already proved they aren't infallible with the so called "fairy tale ending" thing for DAO (not to mention ME2 LI's).   I'm sure that there are plenty of fanfics that have been invalidated by ME2, lol

Essentially, yes, that is true.  Though with advanced placement courses there's more consistency because of the existence of a national exam based on those courses.
