Not entirely Shenko (I always put some hint of it in though), but would anyone be interested in a fanfic where...

1. Tali asks Shep what death was like in order to cope with her father's own demise.
2. Ash decides the sleeper pods are too confining and takes to sleeping in the back of the Mako and engaging the combat locks only to be discovered by crewmen yet to be decided.  (I never really thought they dealt with the emotional aftermath of Virimre.   She saw her entire unit wiped out just like Shepard in some cases and she's like, whatever fine, check out that big space station?)
3. Ash accidently being exposed to red sand on one of Helena Blake's let's go kill evil gangsta missions and Kai Kai helps her through it till it wears off.  (I'm going to guess they don't carry Naloxone with them in his medic bag)  I always imagined them being great friends.

SO happy Kaidan's line got changed, I keep wondering about the psychology of the writer, is male Shep supposed to be seen as god? That bothers me, and I can't see Ash even say that at any time. "Legend" is definitely more fitting. 

I think Legend was actually the perfect choice of words and I can't understand why they would use god for Ash even if they wanted to change it up a little. I still think the animations during the initial attack should have been different.  Ash's was fitting, looking down the sights of a rifle, but Kaidan should have been like barrier!  Haha!  Sting me now biotch!

They really didn't differentiate anything between the two in that scene except for a few words and what they were wearing. Like I said pages back...it felt like an afterthought. They created new characters and the new story and then went back at the end and added the scene that would keep Kaidan/Ash out of the picture.

How did he get out of that situation anyway? Clearly they petrified him, so why didn't they take him? And just how long was he standing there (petrified?) watching Shep and her team fight Collectors?

ohhhh...that would be horrible.  the woman he loves is still alive, and in danger and there's nothing he can do about it.  no wonder he was so pissy.  poor Kai Kai.   Come here.

Speaking of that, I'd love for Shep, in ME3, to burst into the council chambers and tell EDI to "Run it" and show footage and data collected on the Reapers, turn to the Turian councillor and say "Here's your "proof"."

If you have some vitamine B capsuls, take one with at least 16oz of water.  My now husband gave me vitamine B when he took me out for my 21st B-Day, and insisted I drink one glass of water for every drink.  They had to carry me out I was so sloshed, but I was bright eyed and bushy tailed at 7 the next morning.  It does work as a cure, it just takes time to set in.  3/4 of a hangover is dehydration, so if nothing else, drink some water.

Whatever the armor he was in on Horizon...it was perfect. Femshep's dialog may have been off and we may have wanted more interaction with Kai Kai but they at least went out of the way to make him look fine in that scene.

Oh totally agree...I swear they made him look devastatingly sexy on Horizon just to throw salt on the wounds...

  I can just see it now...

Turian Counciler - "This has obviously been concocted by Cerberus.  They know of your facination with the so called 'Reapers' and are using your obcession to control you.  We will not be taken in by such utter nonsence."

You know, if Kaiden has to save my Shepard, he could bring evidence that the council would believe to save Sheps reputation.  He would earn....ok, he has her undying devotion....maybe a few nights of....nope, planning on that anyway....something really fabulous to be determined later for doing that.

Yeah it just felt totally off. The wording hell even the things Sheapard's said in the scene were off. He/She would say he how have you been I was like wtf moment. I so wished that their was a option to jump in to his arms, and kiss him.

I actually liked the middle response better.  Still not exactly what Mia would have said, but at least it's not as inane as "How've you been?"  How the hell does she think he's been?!

I'm actually thinking maybe BioWare originally intended for Ash/Kaidan to be kidnapped but then decided that was a bad idea, maybe that's why it seems odd they suddendly appear out of nowhere and couldn't come any sooner to lend a hand.

The assumption was that we were reescuing Ash/Kaidan, when that trailer that showed Ashley being bit came out.  I think the Horizon scene was even more shocking to people who were expecting to be the hero to Ash/Kaidan, and instead were being chewed out.

It's like they said "how can we make the reunions with the ME1 love interests as dissatifying and sad as possible?"    Liara fans were screwed too, IMO.

Now that I've played that scene again the How you've been comes off better because it could be my imagination or someone having suggesting this on the forum before, but Shep does seem uncomfortable when saying it, like she's not sure what to say and how he's going to react, and then it's totally inadequate and blows up in her face. If I think about it pretty sure I've said and done something similar before.. 
 I hope I'm not trying to excuse BioWare, I do wish they'd written the encounter differently, but I do see that particular line in a new light now, and it gives Shepard a human flaw.

What's funny is if you look at the old forums, Chris Priestly and Stanley Woo were both trying to hint at how small the roles of Liarashidan were going to be. They didn't sugarcoat things.



Unfortunately, I listened to Casey's 'they're very important to the story' evading, so I was very much let down.
