Soldier was nice being able to do whatever you wanted with guns.

Just a note, all of this is speculation on a twitter post, this is not any kind of fact
So on Christina Norman's Twitter (Lead ME2 Gameplay Designer for BioWare) She mentions that she "played a DLC mission at work that she thinks will make femshep players very, very, happy!"
I interpret this as, (here's the speculative jump) as there will be a DLC coming that we will get to find a cure for Thane's Kepral's Syndrome. Anyone else think this?
If not that, what else could it possibly be?
What could it mean?
I'm pointedly ignoring that thread because if it is a "Cure Thane" dlc, I could care less.
Well it's all speculative, I really do hope that it will be something to do with Kaidan rather than Thane - it's the original quote that I am most interested:
So on Christina Norman's Twitter (Lead ME2 Gameplay Designer for BioWare) She mentions that she "played a DLC mission at work that she thinks will make femshep players very, very, happy!"
Nothing is suggested that the DLC is to do with Thane.
A Thane DLC would not make all Femsheps happy. Sure wouldn't make me happy.

I don't see the chances as being good though unfortunately.
given that there are so many LI options, I don't know how a dlc involving a particular one will make femshep players very very happy because it leaves too many out in the cold.
A thane cure dlc will only please those who actually like Thane. Plus with so many ME2 characters able to die in game I just can't wrap my head around how they would pull any sort of dlc off that is character specific.

Over all, ME2 is a "better" game. But ME1 has by far the better story.
Yep...I'd agree with that and admit that I found ME2 rather boring after a while...I only got through two playthroughs before I tossed it aside. When ME3 gets close I may pick it up and do another playthrough just to have as a save after we find out more about how ME3 will play out. Might want to make sure I do certain things if they pan out in the next game. Of course if I find out Kaidan is barely in it...well lets just say things won't be pretty.
I think BW would have a full blown riot between the Ash/Kaidan fans.
Torches and pitchforks...

Hehe, yeah. I'm right before heading through the Omega 4 relay on my Adept at the moment... I've really missed all my guns during the playthrough.

Kinetically.
Oh wait...its going fine and dandy. Though its abit quiet today, so it seems.
Hmm. Well, Sunday tends to be napday in my household... maybe others are napping as well?
Probably - I did try and nap myself, but I'm bad at sleeping in the day.
I'm with you there, Doug.
At the moment husband is trying to drag me away from the computer to go do something active while we actually have sunshine (lots of rain for the past couple of weeks).
Oh, I'm tired and feel a headache coming on, and would like to nap, but my mind can't seem to calm down enough in the day to allow it.
Yeah - I have to be so tired that my brain turns to mush before I can sleep during the day. Otherwise it's spinning like a hamster on a wheel.

That's normally how I am too, and I normally can't sleep even like that. But I think I'm coming down with whatever has been going around my work place (as the past two weeks people have been out sick alot), so I think that's what's wrong with me.

I agree but trying to come up with an alternative is hard. I just don't know what they could do mission specific that would make ALL femsheps happy. Only thing I can think is that she was just speaking off the cuff and didn't really mean all femsheps. She probably played the mission as a femshep herself...the question is...if she had played as maleshep would it have made malesheps very very happy.

honestly if they had dlc that let you interact with your me1 LI's that would make me very happy. wouldn't be awesome if kaidan asked for your help and during that mission you and he had an awkward distant convo that you could either distance yourself or only reaffirm that your feelings haven't changed for him?

It's hard to read between the company lines sometimes. Think at times they want to believe that their experiments work and that there are univerally adored characters, but often, that's not the case. But the public company line would endorse the opposite.

Since when is having your LI go to bed with another woman a fairytale ending, either you have to pimp out your LI for both you and him to survive or you have to drive him off.
