Ditto....but what are the chances of that?
I don't see the chances as being good though unfortunately.
given that there are so many LI options, I don't know how a dlc involving a particular one will make femshep players very very happy because it leaves too many out in the cold.
A thane cure dlc will only please those who actually like Thane. Plus with so many ME2 characters able to die in game I just can't wrap my head around how they would pull any sort of dlc off that is character specific.
I agree but trying to come up with an alternative is hard. I just don't know what they could do mission specific that would make ALL femsheps happy. Only thing I can think is that she was just speaking off the cuff and didn't really mean all femsheps. She probably played the mission as a femshep herself...the question is...if she had played as maleshep would it have made malesheps very very happy.
It's hard to read between the company lines sometimes. Think at times they want to believe that their experiments work and that there are univerally adored characters, but often, that's not the case. But the public company line would endorse the opposite.
And that's their delusion...like thinking they gave women a fairytale ending in DAO...yeah I brought it up again...but it's the most ridiculous thing I think I've ever heard.
Yep, so I expect absolutely nothing positive for my interests from this DLC twitter thing right now. If it's Kaidan related, I will be shockingly and pleansantly surprised but otherwise, I'll probably just not bother.

Heh, well, I doubt I could have done that - I only got a C at GCSE English - with is an 'ok' mark. And I had to work my ass off to get that one. Always hated English classes.
*grins* My mom taught English/English grammar. She used to review my papers - pretty scary at times but I guess I did learn.

I don't know who he is going to choose yet, but he plays with Ash in his party normally so I'm guessing he will save her. (But he's annoyed with how she keeps wanting to hook up with him).

Bioware character appearance choices always leave a lot to be desired, the "more hairstyles" DA mod has over 145k downloads. I used the hairstyle and makeup mods for DA.

Since when is having your LI go to bed with another woman a fairytale ending, either you have to pimp out your LI for both you and him to survive or you have to drive him off.
Precisely...they evidently don't have a clue. Let's hope they wise up before ME3 is completed. I don't want Kai Kai having to sleep with a reaper to save my Femshep.

True. Mind you, I want more tattoo choices for my DA:O characters - most of the normal ones just take up too much of the face. Only 1 I like - well, on the humans and elves. The angular Dwarf ones look good.

This really does not make me want to slog through DA:O. I started it just before ME2 came out, wasn't really getting the hang of it, then got caught up in ME2. But hearing that there isn't a good ending doesn't really inspire me to plow through a story with no payoff, despite all the Alistair fans singing his praises. I guess I'm also wary of hoping they won't do the same thing with ME. I want to believe (me & Fox) that they'll follow through, but so many people are sold on the idea that having things be depressing makes them more "real", more valid. I'm not one of them.
I don't mind some angst, but there has to be a payoff somewhere. Hopefully they won't write themselves into a corner like the Fallout 3 writers, who had to then change the ending to continue the story. Broken Steel made me very happy - could never bring myself to send Sarah into the chamber - so maybe we can hope for some sort of story continuation along those lines. It CAN be done!!

I think if I hadn't been inspired for my few DAO fanfics that I would not have enjoyed it as much. I am struggling to play through with my Dalish elf, but I'm choosing everything opposite what I normally would do.
I wasn't happy with the ending choices, and I actually had a few fanfic ideas for one of the other endings, but it would mean that I wouldn't carry forward with that character into sequels.

So long as the baby reaper doesn't look like the one in ME2!
