Jacob does have his 'game' on. And that very fact is what turns me off of him. I get the impression that he wants to just get laid or that he's on the rebound from Miranda. He also doesn't have the risk of being courtmartialed for improper conduct with a superior officer.

Kaidan, on the other hand, has a lot to sort out when he first starts his relationship with Shepard. She is his superior officer, so he's going to be cautious and low-key about the whole thing.


Also: 
"Even the reapers will come around again. But you and I, we, are important right now. And this is what will never happen again: us. Shepard, you make me feel human."

is 400x more romantic and wonderful than

"heavy risk, but the priizzzeee" and "Win, lose, it doesn't matter. I want it all"

Hey fellow New Yorker!  I worked at the Roundabout Theatre years and years ago, but I don't "do" theatre now, I pretty much just follow Broadway news and go to shows when I can drag my mom along.

And I don't think anyone in this thread is going to convert to Jacob, at least as a romance.  The writing is just all wrong, plus he's getting over another woman who is currently on the ship, and nobody likes the voice acting Shepard has in scenes with him.  Kaidan's romance was just way more believable and natural, and I didn't feel like he had a ton of issues he wanted to throw in my character's lap, or that the voice acting was pretending something was there that wasn't.

revan, YOU should convert to Kaidan.  We have tons of fun and there are lots of girls here.  JOIN US!!!

Just because he was upset with me on Horizon... that doesn't mean that I want to find someone to replace him. Lovers fight all the time and don't call it quits because one spoke harshly to the other.

Let's not forget that the two years for Kaidan felt like few days for Shepard. Probably. He passed through few stages of loss, tried to get on with his life, and suddenly everything goes to hell. Sheps went through the tragedy most recently so I'm not really sure who was more hurt, but imho Kaidan had the right to be upset.
Of course Shepard is busy with all this galaxy saving buisness, so she cannot allow herself to be distracted >_>

About the pic: old trick - flip the image in the mirror. Most of people see differences end eventual mistakes that way. What I saw is that woman's head is too large, would be enough to narrow her chin a little, emphasize lips a bit too. Would demonstrate it, but 1. it's not my photomanip., 2. you may say I'm too picky 3. I don't have my tablet with me today Anyways. I make a lot of anatomical errors in drawings, I seem to be not able to learn anatomy since I started drawing, but I can see when something looks odd.

Look, I wanted to like Jacob, but the man is just so bland. And when I saw the YouTube video of the 'romance' scene, I can see why the ladies here aren't interested in him. As for Miranda, I could tell they had unresolved issues.

I fully intend to attempt the romance right now, but I'm pretty sure Meghan Shepard is not impressed and would rather I not force her.  But that's the price she pays for making me write her logs.

I'm trying to figure out WHY they wrote him that way.  I can figure out Thane... I GET Garrus... but I really don't comprehend Jacob.  And as the sole romanceable human for FemShep, his romance is just bizarre.

For the love of all that is holy, they keep sharing meaningful glances!  When she admits she's the one who sent him that transmission for his father, when they're in the final prep for the suicide mission....  Meghan does not want to get in the middle of THAT.
