How is Caprica? I've been meaning to watch it, but I forgot to set the silly DVR to record it after the first week (which turned out to be the movie they released last year).

I really like it. I missed an episode or two because the DVR decided it didn't feel like recording it.... but I think I'm back on track now. I just found out that it's the prequel to Battlestar Gallactica? But yeah, it's been really interesting.

Yeah, it's the prequel. I have been meaning to watch it because one of my favorite eye candy actors (James Marsters) is supposed to have a limited guest starring role eventually.

It's really well done; I think if you're a sci fi fan, a bsg fan... you're probably going to really get into it. I don't watch too much TV but I couldn't pass it up.

I loved BSG but I am having a hard time with Caprica. I keep waiting for it to suck me in, but it hasn't happened yet. I haven't watched the last 2 episodes yet though, so maybe it will still happen.

A bit of speculation on ME3 - everyone's wondering how the devs will incorporate the ME1 & ME2 squaddies together depending on who survives, and without going insane. I'm thinking that since dialogue is used fairly interchangeably (example: Jack's loyalty mission, almost everyone says some variation of "This is...unbelievable" it doesn't matter from a dev standpoint exactly who survives (it matters to us, of course). Anyway, since you can't import your ME2 game if you don't survive, who survives because you do? My guess is the only guaranteed ME2 squaddies will be the ones in your final team, since if they don't make it, you don't. The rest are nice and add character & depth, but aren't needed to carry the game forward, especially if they've already served their purpose. Pick that team carefully...
