Seriously though blond just does not work on her for me.  Would probably be more tolerable if her other features (especially eyebrows) were lightened as well, but still.

The hair color is too uniformly one shade, and they should have lightened the eyebrows a shade or two, too.  Right now she just looks like she's wearing a wig.

I've seen the Alistair mods, and I would NEVER EVER touch them (nor would I mod Kaidan, unless someone could fix his hair bumps well), but I've been tempted with Zevran. I love his style, but his physical appearance isn't very appealing to me. None of the ones I've seen have inspired me to download them, however.

I've wondered in the past whether opinions of Kaidan would change if his appearance and voice were different. Would people equate him with Carth if Raphael Sbarge didn't do his voice, or would guys like him better if he had badass scars and tattoos?

I have had a few Kaidan haters admit to me in the past that the voice is why they hated him. I don't know if Kaidan haters would have started liking him without the voice but I do think a lot of them would have stopped out and out attacking him.

Sounds like you like the same type I do...I like someone to be fit but not overly muscular...and he's got to be handsome...I prefer dark hair for some reason(One of the things that drove me a little nuts about DAO...both male LI's were blonds. 

Me too! Alistair is such a sweetheart that I let him get away with it, but, yeah dark hair >>>> all!

With the toolset and custom morphs that problem is easily to fix.

Yeah, I played a mod as a dark-haired Alistair. Hot! But I got so used to him as a blond/ginger, that I can't bear to change his hair colour now!

Just landed on Eden Prime in ME1 and just stood there, looking at Kaidan. Never noticed he shows he has headaches before. With the forehead/temple rubbing he does when idle. Well I'm like 20 screenshots further and am hardly playing hehe. Taking screenshots is distracting

Yeah, the darker eyebrows make her features look too sharp in my opinion.

I think they would. Carth = whiny douchebag, apparently. Therefore guy who sounds like Carth = also whiny douchebag. I don't get it, but that's what I've seen! I enjoy Sbarge's work, but it was a little odd at first hearing Carth's voice come out of Kaidan's mouth, there's subtle differences, but they sound very, very similar. Of course going back to play KOTOR now would be even weirder, especially because Kaidan beats all the other BWs in the attractiveness department!

Also: blonde Miranda looks awful, thank god they changed the hair! The colour is terrible!

I went into ME1 thinking I wouldn't like Kaidan, because of the way I felt about Carth.  I loved his voice, but I couldn't help but think of the horrible animation for him when I heard it.  His emotions were all conveyed as if he were a 14 year old boy or something.  Of course, like 5 minutes into ME1 I was won over by Kaidan, and the flashbacks to KOTOR were gone.
