I wonder if Bioware had any idea they might get a reaction like this over Lilith.

Hmm...don't think we would react this way if Kaidan wasn't just a cameo. Right now Horizon is all we have to go on, and I'm sure taking it out on Lilith. She got to spend more time with Kaidan than we did in ME2 <_<

Very true, maybe if we had more of Kaidan for ourselves we would not be calling for the pods quite so often :)

BTW, Your new picture of Kaidan is very steamy.    It ties in perfect with Winde's famous shower pic.

Ok, finished watching Sweeney Todd... I have to ask, Tim Burton, why did you have to add extra salt to an already unhappy ending to the tale? I mean, it never had a happy ending, but my god.

Overall, liked it, but some of the songs felt...meh. Not my favourite bend of tea if you will, but enjoyable enough.

Mixed feelings about that movie. The cast is awesome, but it's a bit too bloody for my taste at times. Love Helena Bonham Carter as always though.

Hahaha that sounds pretty typical of his stuff... I heard it was bloody to the point of comical/absurd, but I'd still like to see it.

My impression of the Lilith/Delan/Kaidan situation is that Delan is interested in Lilith, and Lilith is interested in Kaidan, while Kaidan is oblivious. Who was it that wrote the fic about Lilith hating Shepard because she (shep) had 'broken' Kaidan? That fit with my take on Lilith and her feelings.

True - there was also too much blood. I mean, I know the human body holds 6 gallons of the stuff, so why is 10 on screen?

I saw it on stage first.  It was pretty amazing because it all takes place on a very minimal set with a very small cast.  The cast would play instruments along the set perimeter until it was time for their dialog.  As far as the movie I love Tim Burton's artistic style and will watch anything with Johnny Depp.
The movie is pretty dark though, to say the least :)

Well, it was a dark tale in the first place; possibly the original Urban Myth. But he just added extra dark and depressing to it.

@star team Gizka disappointed me so much, I've waited for that mod for like years! And nothing :-(

on the subject of girl gamers where I live we are still a rare creature, some kids at school found out I play x-box and now there is an obsession with trying to get my gamer tag the number who I don't even teach who stop me,

them: miss do u really have x-box?!

me: yes

them: and you like play games

me: *rolls eyes* yes

LOL sounds like they think it's the weirdest thing in the world that you would play games.

It really is that unusual here, if I go into a game shop on my own, I get pounced on, I don't know whether to be flattered or insulted, I remeber having a conversation once about RPG's and asking him if there was anything worth playing out, he kept listing them like I'd never heard of them and I was like, yeah played that, played that too, completed that when it first came out in 1990, by the end of it, I was going through games he hadn't played and if I'm honest feeling quite smug about it!

And I hated it when I went to pick-up my  buy CoD:MW2 pre-oder,

Game dude:  a treat for your boyfriend?

Me: *scowl*  no it's for me

Dude:  *shocked look* Oh have you played CoD before?

Me:  Yes, all of them!

Dude:  I don't know many girls who play proper games.

Me:  Yeah well, I do, so can I have my game please?

It can be pretty frustrating to shop for video games but at least I usually find at least one girl working at my  local games stores so they tend to be a bit easier to deal with.  I live in gamer country though,  surrounded by Microsoft, Nintendo and many others so we seem to have a pretty good community of girl gamers.

What really drives me nuts is when a guy knows I play and still feels the need to explain what an NPC, DPS or AOE, etc  are. Dude! I know!!  Posted Image

*grins*  When I bought ME1, the sales person looked at me, made the assumption that I *must* be purchasing the game for someone else (most likely younger and male) and said, "I just want to point out that this game is rated 'M" for mature."

Me:  *sweet sweet smile and sugary tone*  I think I'm old enough to play!

Salesperson:  *backpedals frantically*  That's so cool!  My Mom plays too.

urgh.

I tend to order my games online. Last time I bought one in a store they were adressing my bf who stood behind me and who was totally oblivious to the game itself (he's not much of a gamer). So I spoke up, the guy was all  'Huh? Oh...wow...girl...gamer...*coughs*...sorry...HI!" Annoying. Most are used to girl gamers, but some are really bad. Don't recall the game, but it sure wasn't Barbie goes Hiking or anything like that.

*shakes head*

Can I ask you a question, I hope you won't consider it rude but well I can be somewhat socially awkward:unsure:.

Do you use hands to handshake or batwings? a batwingshake?

Hey, someone in the same time zone. Good morning, although I work nights so it feels like night time to me.
Your game store experience has happened to me sooo many times. Although, having a teenage gamer mean I am often buying for him.

One time I got carded for a mature game and I was so excited (I look that young, awesome) only to be told that they card everyone who looks under 30.  Man, I must look really old then since it hasn't happened since. Posted Image

Chrome might be better but I found it buggy - keep breaking on my machine and had all sorts of wierd problems. Else I would have stuck  with it.

I'm still using explorer much to my teens disgust.  He's using chrome atm,  I don't handle change well and it takes me all my time to get used to new versions of explorer when they come out lol

I'm trying it out on my work computer first; if all goes well, I may install it at home too. I feel a little bit like I'm helping Google's world domination-cause. haha

Any new fanfics this morning? Nothing like a little Kaidan to make the day go by more quickly... :innocent:
