Some of the special abilities, though, are lame as hell. I hate Charge for Vanguards. I end up in the middle of a nest of enemies and get my ass shot to hell if I use it. It's a weapon of last resort for me.

Steam is an awesome alternative for PC Gaming on a budget. They are constantly doing specials/discounts on games.

I haven’t' been in a Gamestop in ages, I tend to order my games from Amazon.   They deliver games on the day they are released.

We've been building our PCs from parts via Newegg for years.   We were happy to see Compusa go under, talk about a poorly run business, it would take forever to checkout there.

Yeah, I order from Amazon or Steam these days myself. Or "Game.co.uk". If I can wait, I mail order, if I can't, Steam. Really, when you factor in petrol, its not any more expensive to order off of Stream.

My boyfriend refuses to play any fighting game on our consoles against me anymore on account of me chucking a controller at him one time.

But in my defense, Link was the cheesiest excuse of a character to add to Soul Caliber and he did nothing but stand back and throw bombs at me.

I like it, but you really have to be careful where you use it.

I tend to use it as a finishing move. If it doesn't kill the enemy, I'll finish it off with a couple of melees.

It was cool on one hit enemies, but against a krogan it's just useless.

That's how I normally did it, but I on occassion would hit the wrong button when playing and be trying to Reave/Shockwave and ending up Charging.

I can break through that defence pretty quickly, i love using the quarterstaff, closes the distance fast if you charge.

I will freely admit that I suck at most fighting games, but I always enjoyed playing them with friends. The boyfriend is a bit too competitive for me to play with though. He tried to impress me one time while playing pool against me by calling his 8 ball shot and shooting with only one hand on the cue stick. He was shocked when I got pissy with him for showing off like that.
